UPDATE The 28 days period allowed for my defence ( which was filed in time ) passes next week. Halifax or rather Irwin Mitchell their solicitors have not responded to my CPR or CCA request. Postal orders were sent with letter all Special Delivery. What should be my next steps ?? Thanks again

Great ..thanks POC as follows By agreement(s) entered into between the Claimant and the Defendant, the Defendant has failed to pay the sum of 14982.09. The Claimant has requested payment but the Claimant has failed to pay the full sum demanded. The Claimant claims the sum of 14982.09 and interest under s.69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at a rate of 8% per annum from 02/01/2009 until judgement or sooner payment. Costs. The claim does not include issues under the Human Rights Act 1998 Thats it ..word for word !!

Well what a start to the weekend. Halifax Bos sent Court Summons today for Credit Card debt of almost £15k. I dont deny I owe some money but the charges and interest have spiralled this out of control. I guess they take me to court - I cant pay - They take my house - etc etc Oh well !!!! Hang on a minute --- why shouldn't I fight this ? - Can anyone advise what my next step should be ??? Thanks Guys
