  1. thanks again for all your advice i feel a little better after listening to all your replies. :>
  2. thanks bookworm and caro for all your help, i`ll let you know how things go i have sent an email to the solicitors saying i no longer wish to pursue this case due to the lack of evidence, hopefully they will leave it at that but i`m sure they will try to keep it!
  3. sorry i`m rushing my replys it looks like sorry to confuse everyone, i do appreciate the help.
  4. ive not spoke to my scooter insurers since this accident because obvioulsy as with most policies it was a 12 month one and has now expired but iwas insured through them at the time of the accident so they should still cover i`m hoping. i couldnt keep renewing every year just to stay incontact but i still have my records, i was going to wait and see what the third party does now i guess they will claim against my then insuance and go from there
  5. no i seeked them out myself and they do seem to be good so far they have asured me i wont pay anything if i lose as ive got insurance cover that i signed for with them. tne no win no fee idea basically i believe is a new version of legal aid that people use to recieve.
  6. no its not gone to court basically if your case falls below a 60% chance of winning and you still go ahead and lose you will be liable to pay your solicitors fees as your no win no fee insurance policy doesnt cover for this. so as mine has fallen below this i carnt pursue this anymore so leaving him on a win i`m more worried about them saying they will take my house if i carnt pay or say i have to pay £300 for the next 40 years every month!!
  7. my scooter insurance company never said anything so far initially i used them to make a claim but then they said it would be quicker to use a no win no fee solicitor since this is what they do, so they passed my claim over to the no win no fee solicitors now they said the scooter insurance group would cover me if a claim was made against me but i`m worried they wont i have been googleing third party insurance and it does say it should cover third party property, and fees or injury claims but i`m still worried. the bus driver is trying to claim for whiplash believe it or not, a bus hitting a sooter!! he looked fine when he stopped down the road and walked back to me but it looks like hes won, unfortunately its not what you know but what you can prove and in this instance ive lost. i just want to know on top of loosing my new scooter and getting bills for it being at a storage area i wont get hit with his solicitors fees, i basically couldnt pay anthing!!
  8. hello everyone, i`ll try to explain this quick basically in 2008 i slipped off my scooter in the rain and then hit by a bus in the opposite direction.after the injury i believed i had a right to claim as the bus never bothered to stop straight away altohugh he had time he tried to go round me and hit me instead. i put in a claim, then he put in a claim i did the no win no fee thing and signed the insurance incase i lost,it basically went to a councel for review and came back bad with less than 50% chance of winning so i`ll have t pull out or face charges. now when i had my scooter i had third party fire and theft put on only. i`m petrified now because i know the no win no fee solicitors insurance doesnt cover for counter claims but they said my scooter insurer would pay this. but now i`m scared stiff they wont and i`ll get some £25,000 solicitors bill i carnt pay and loose my house and my job i have two children and this is now keeping me up all night please tell me ther is something i can do what happens if i carnt pay this money do i loose my house, job or go to prison????:(:(
