1. Advice please on who owns a property once repossession has taken place. My business premises have been voluntary repossessed under CCJ by mortgage company, the CCJ granted some time ago but repossession only took place in September last year. My question is, now that repossession has taken place who actually owns and is responsible for the property now. The reason I ask is that the Mortgage company are charging us insurance and business rates for the property. I have checked Land Registry and it is still registered in my name.
2. Here's a nice letter from a firm called Pastdue Credit Services, first time I've seen an addition of 23%, surely they can't do that, can they?
3. Unfortunately, I do actually owe them money, but that does not give them the right to act in this manner.
4. RMW, yes it is a British Gas account. Sir_G, I'm not new to CAG, it's just that since they altered the format, I'm damned if I can find how to start a new thread, it used to be easy. IMHO the powers that be have made a right mess of it ....or is it just me being a technophobe !!!
5. The postcard above arrived in the post this morning, given the OFT Guidelines and in particular Para 2.6.j :- acting in a way likely to be publicly embarrassing to the debtor either deliberately or through lack of care, for example, by not putting correspondence in a sealed envelope and putting it through a letterbox, thereby running the risk that it could be read by third parties. Do you think LCS are in Breach of these guidelines, my Postman is now aware that I am to receive a doorstep visit?

7. Thanks Slick, Time for some reading methinks
8. Nothing from Barclaycard, till today, they've only gone and sold it to Lowell. Is there a template letter please for this situation, ie Account in dispute and sold on?
9. It would appear that the 'company' calling itself Advanced Investigation Services are part and parcel of S C Gray Solicitors Ltd., Shire House, Paradise Row, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 2DD Tel 08713841051 (AIS use 08713841050 & 08713841054) Fax No 01527870071 (same as AIS). There is just one director of SC Gray, a solicitor called Fiona Shorte, she is a regulated Solicitor under SRA number 471243. Payment slip on bottom of their letters are to Clanchatton Birmingham Ltd, who are the 'parent' company for AIS. All points to both Gray's and AIS being part and parcel of CCS
10. I too have received a letter from these people. It should be noted that as well as everything else they are using an 0871 number charged at 10p per minute. email gone off to Worcester Trading Standards tradingstandards@worcestershire.gov.uk
