  1. Hi All, I need your advice really appreciated your comments. I started work with this organisation 4 years ago as an account manager on a full time employement basis but it transpired after few months that they do not pay their VAT, TAX NI etc so I was advised by my colleague at work to do the same and become a self employed which I did. From the moment I started with this place, I was constantly abuse and bullied by my manager and I reported it to the MD many many times but he did not do nothing about it. after a year, the boss himself join in the hostility & the unethical communication directed to me daily such as your clients cannot understand you because you cannot speak proper language, degrading commnets about my race etc. I was subjected to emotional abuce some of these were very subtle or blunt. I could not leave as I could not afford it as my wife was a full time student. Finally, I resigned a month ago and to top it up, they are still bullying me and they sent an email telling me that they will be taking me to court if I speak to any of my past clients etc. I have clients, colleagues that witnessed this bullying throughout the years and prepared to testify as witnesses. sorry about the long story but I wanted to get some advice on how proceed as I know the MD and others in this organisation have a knack for bullying people. thank you very much for reading
  2. sorry I was away. thank you very much for your wise advce
  3. Hi, I am looking for any advice please and thank you in advance. I have a mortage with NRAM and I have been paying 'part interest part payment' since Jan 2011 which amount to £1097pm. I was originally on 'repayment' but my wife gone back to full time studying and I found it hard to meet the full payment hence coverting my mortage payment. she has finished now and looking for work and I requested NRAM to extend the agreed repayment methods for another 3 months (end of Oct) but when I spoke to them they asked me to do the followings in order for my application of extention to be considered: I have a payment plan with debt management for my unsecured loan which comes up to £400 a month (40k loans) which I included on my 'hard ship form'. when I called NRAM, they said that I pay too much towards my debts and I require to reduce their monthly pay if I want to be considered for an extention. I called debtline payment plan and we reduced the payment to £210m and called back NRAM to let them now that I did what they instructed me to do. BUT when I give them the new payment plan figure, they said now I am able to pay the full mortage repayment as I have surplus money.. I was livid as I felt they tricked me into doing it and I felt very angry twards them. The thing is our total income is 2100 and if I pay the full payment of £1490 plus £210 then all what we left with is few hundreds to survive a whole months with travel food etc. I just do not see how they worked it out and why advise me to follow their instruction but had another agenda. I am not sure if anyone had the same experience but I requested NRAM to listen to the conversation that I had with one of their employees and the advice given to me and am calling them again on Friday. any ideas would help greatly. thank you
  4. many thanks Welshmam2009. Will follow your comments. I really think that they treated us like ingnorant and just don't like it' keep you posted
  5. Soory, This is something off the beat but would like some advice. I am a sea angler and something fish from the pier. I always purchase a yearly season tickets and the cost includes fishing day and night. the tickets start from september to Sepetember and the last new one I bought was last month. Suddenly there was a rumur going that the pier will close for repaid and it was true. we (others as well) had to emailed them, make calls etc and finally we recived a letter stating that it true and they starte dthe work already fencing most of it. The pier management even even sold people tickets just last couple of weeks without saying anything to them so you know how they will feel being sold something which is not. I want to get my money back. How do I proceed..any ideas Many thanks
  6. I handed in my notice but they asked me to work from home. However before my final pay (29th September) , they sent me an email which stated that they will be deducted money from my wage. They said that my leaving date was the 23rd of September - My letter stated clearly the 26th September and I received an email from the manager accepting my resignation They said that I exceeded my annual sick leave by 1.5 day which they deduct from my final wage. My old contract state that I have 14 days but they argue that it is only 10 days allowances since contract has been amended. Yes, we did received an email about 'proposed amendement to my terms' but I never signed, nor received as a letter or committed myself to it. This is a new company that bought the old one They said that I took all my annual leave based on the new terms so exceed it . Again this is calculated using their new terms not the old contract that I have which state 24 days not 20 days as they claim I sent numerous emails but the only things received from them is 'logged ticket email'. Moreover, the only communication that I received (whether face toi face or by email) is about my pay since I handed in my resignation. I hope the above make sense. Please help with some advice as I looked the small claim tribunal and they state that they don't deal with 'wage issues'. Many thanks
  7. Thank you guys. It's just a shame that they reacted like this but as you said, is their loss. All I hope for is that my knee is ok. Also, I had around £250 worth of clothing in the older office (we moved office as we had too) which the landlord closed due to these people trying to do a runner..I think. I send the manager an email with cost etc but I haven't heard from them. what do you think? Many thanks
  8. Hi I handed in my 4 weeks notice and their first reaction was ' you can go straight away but we won't pay you' and in two occasions when I was told that either I will take their offer (took all my holidays and they want their 5.5 days back but can waive it if I go) or I will given under pressure and leave with nothing - I hope this make sense to you guys. However, because of finance commitment, I decided to sit it out for a long haul. I feel that I am pressurised to leave right now (the way they are behaving now/ ignoring all my requests such as 'transferring my knowledge work experience' to my colleagues, ignoring my clients that I dealt with for years....I know is their loss but there are acting weird with me. Any advice what to do, will be fantastic. i know is no long but it is making me physically sick Another thing, I injured my self at work and am going for scan etc and I made sure they know that
  9. I got a PCN in December 08 and I contested the fine. The letter sent by me was received by WF council on 16/12/08 (checked with the post office). They didn’t respond until the 14/02/09. Do I have some sort of argument on the time limit they took to answer me back? Any advice would be appreciated Many thanks
  10. Any advice / comments or ideas please as the 14 days period for 1/2 pay is getting nearer
  11. copy the URL Then before it type - no space please -hope this make sense. Or they may have already the IMG in front of your URL so all you need is copy - right click and copy..then paste here. There is a thread somewhere here how to downlaod pics. good luck
  12. Damn I didn't think of that ...but the cameramen from the council (should be in hollywood) filmed me going through facing the signs
  13. Hi there I attached some photos. This is the one that is displayed when you enter high street market coming from Hoe Street: However, when you are coming from Cleveland road turning right to high street, this is what you see and you don’t CAN'T stop and read because it is not facing you: On the high street, this is the sign that you se dotted all around: The funny thing is many times while I am sitting in the car, the traffic wardens always passes me and ask me to move on but never said ‘ this is a pedestrian zone and you are not allowed to go through’. Inconsistency, I would think Honest, if I knew this is the case, I am not that stupid to get 3PCN in the same times, 3 min from each other. Even if I can’t win my agreement, I am willing at least to pay one not all of them…what do you think? Because 2 of the 3 PCN I went through the high street coming from Cleveland road and no way I could see the sign. Any comments, advice is really appreciated, particularly paying the money for something I never noticed for nearly 8 years Many thanks
  14. many thanks for your reply will take a pic tomorrow and post.
  15. First post for me here and needs some advice please. (being doing it for the last 8 years) I drove through this road on Sunday(Walthamstow, high street) and all I know is that you cannot park but you can drive through. I know the council were in discussions before to make it a padestrian zone only. Anyway, when I dropped my wife to do some shopping and went around three times until she finished so I can pick her up BUT the WF issue me with 3 x PCN saying 'entering a padestrian zone' (issued PCN 5 min from each one). I cheked the sign and I think they have changed even though it looks very old sign. I know for fact that few hundreds cars went through there that day...what can I DO? THANKS FOR THE ADVICE
