  1. You're right, I didn't look at hundreds if not thousands of posts, just a few. Apologies for advertising but I found THAT web address by searching this site. £18 to save me the trouble is hardly 'unscrupulous'. I just don't think there was a need for anyone to be insulting.
  2. There was little else in the form of advice here, but thank you for the insults - very helpful.
  3. I received a letter from CEL today to say that the PCN notice has been cancelled - brilliant!! Thank you [unauthorised website removed]. Well worth the £18!
  4. I've handed it over to an online service their price seems very reasonable
  5. Thank you. The land is in Sunderland in Cowan road, I parked and paid for 3 hours, I'm pretty sure I left well inside that time as the job I was doing simply doesn't take that long. The park is operated by 'Starparks' and you pay by phone. The next thing I know is a 'Final reminder'.
  6. Sorry for the delay, I've been trying to upload the PDF but when I go to 'manage attachments' the page opens and the file uploads but when I close that page the PDF doesn't appear here.
  7. Oops, sorry! I hadn't noticed that, thank you very much for removing it. I'll scan it again tomorrow and be a bit more careful.
  8. Thank you all very much for the replies. I'm not able to copy as a PDF document at home but I can do it at work and upload tonight. John
  9. Thank you for your response, you're right it wasn't a windscreen ticket it came through the post. It seems very excessive £100 for a one hour overstay, and I don't think I overstayed at all. Can the recording equipment be faulty? I've attached the notice (I think), which says 'Final reminder' but I didn't get any other communication prior to this.
  10. Hi, I received a Parking Charge Notice in red stamped 'final reminder'. It's for £100. Incident date 14/4/15 but no details about where I parked. I haven't had an initial letter or any other reminders - this is the first I've heard of it. It's from 'Civil enforcement ltd' It says the above charge has not been paid, it is now too late to pay the lower rate - whatever that was? Has anyone else any experience of or can help with this? I can scan and post the letter if that's any help? Thanks, John
  11. Hello everyone, I was recently contacted by Robinson way regarding a debt with Lloyds TSB. The debt is not mine, it is my sons, he has the same name (it seemed like a good idea at the time). My son hasn't lived here for about 5 years now. I told the caller this and told him not to use my address or telephone anymore. Since then I get at least one recorded message per day from them asking to "Press 1 to continue", which I just delete. I was going to email them to explain again that they have the wrong person and it's harassment to continue with their calls but I'm not sure about revealing my email address to them, although I suppose I can at least add their address to the junk filter! The reason I'm concerned is that I went through exactly the same thing with Eversheds solicitors (Leatherheds would be a more appropriate name). I tried to be cooperative with them and said they could send mail here for my son and I would pass on mail and telephone messages for them. In return they put a registered charge on my house and I had to get the court to order it removed!!! Obviously I don't want to go through the same thing again, while it didn't cost anything it was very stressfull and I didn't do anything to deserve it. Does anyone have any advice on what action I should take regarding Robinson way? It seems the whole thing is about to start again. Thank you, John
