As suggested, mediation was a total waste of time. They had no intention of "coming to an agreement" at all and wouldn't budge on wanting the full amount. Mediator suggested I have some dialogue with DWF as it will look good in front of a judge

Received DQ today from DWF They have ticked that the claim is not suitable for determination without a hearing but have not stated why Also have ticked that they agree to small claims mediation

Logged in again this morning and there is a note saying "case stay lifted 12/04/2023 , DQ sent to you on 12/04/2023" That reads as bad news to me ?

Last entry on Mcol is still my defence, presuming that means they have decided to drop the case but will continue to log in for a few more days / weeks / months to be sure

Looking at the letter I received on 3rd February it just states a copy is being served, no guide as to when. I will work on end of March as being deadline court ack of defence filing.pdf

so regardless of when I submitted my defence it would not be served to the claimant until those 33 days were up ?

Filed defence on 31st January so 33 days would have been 5th March Received letter from court acknowledging defence on 3rd Feb, presuming Adidas got at same time 33 days would be tomorrow Letter actually said they had 28 days which would have been 3rd March Cheers

Do they have a time limit ? Similar to the defendant having a limit to reply to original claim
