Anyone knows what different banks offer on charges for being overdrawn over you overdraft agreement? I loose most of my money for being over my overdraft limit by 2 to 20 pounds. I know I should go over my limit in the 1st place but with Lloyds I get charged 25 pounds + 6 pounds a day, no matter the amount. (In June, I got fined 150 for being 24 pence overdrawn for about a month) This is ridiculously unfair. I want a bank that will not charge these ridiculous amounts. Any idea anyone? Or does that not exist in the world of banking?

I will print my statement since I have been banking with them and see how much I have really paid in charges since then. I bet it is much more than I thought! In the meantime.... I really hate Lloyds and was wondering if I can have another bank account elsewhere. If so, which is the best bank to deal with?

I'm new here too. I love this thread. (so much I saved it in my favorites!) I am sooooo glad I found this site. Now I will start my claim too and I feel good about it because I know what to do. I was so afraid because I am an individual against a big institution and I felt powerless knowing they can exploit my weaknesses in not knowing what to do. NOT ANYMORE!

Hi Everyone, I'm from London. I have been getting increasingly infuriated over my astronomical bank charges and bank: Lloyds TSB. I want to recover over 350 pounds of unfair charges for being overdrawn for a maximum of 20 pound and a minimum of 2. The amounts looks so unfair. I agree to being penalised but that much seems very unfair. Being charged 6 pounds a day for being overdrawn by 2 pounds is RIDICULOUS! Also, I hate my bank with a passion. I have never had so many troubles with a bank before. They take my money as they will, and they are time consuming. I want to pay back my credit card and leave this bank. Anyway. I am glad to have found a place where I can vent my frustration with others. Makes me feel less alone to see I am not the only one in this position. Lloyds manages to infuriate me every months. I hate them with a passion. Also, they deal with their bloody computer systems. Everytime I get the answer: it gets taken automatically... Blablabla! PEOPLE ARE NOT COMPUTERS! I AM NOT A COMPUTER! I dont care! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!
