Hi there everyone - my first thread but have been an avid follower of these boards. I have today come home from work to find a claim form from the CCBC for Arrow Global (Copes Solicitors). I do not want a CCJ as I work in the county court (ironic I know) and it will affect what jobs I can do. I do not have the money available to pay the full amount straight away and wondered if anyone had any experience of Copes Solicitors. Are they likely to accept a reduced settlement even though the claim has been issued? Will they withdraw the claim if I make a big payment now and pay the rest over a couple of months? or should I just try to beg/steal/borrow the full amount? I am going to phone them at 9am when they open tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had any previous experience of them Thanks in advance x x
