Hi, Thank you for the reply. I spoke to them this morning and was actually very pleasantly surprised. I talked to somebody helpful and pleasant for a change. They are still being a little difficult but hopefully I should be able to have everything sorted by the weekend. I queried the total of arrears they say is outstanding as it does.not add up and is around £600 more than it should be and also the fact that I will not pay the increased monthly payment for their fairytale story about me renting out the house. seems totally absurd that they could go for possession due to arrears for something they just.made up and have no evidence off and I can very easily prove I have never let the house.. Hopefully this will be sorted out,just annoying I have to put myself out due to there attitude.If not I'll be asking for more advice. Cheers

First time on here posting but been reading lots. I had a letter from bailiff regarding outstanding council tax for this year saying it had been passed on to them..since then i have been reading lots on this forum and trying to work out my options.After reading i decided to start making payment via the councils online payment system ,which i have made 2 x payments of £100 and intend to just keep paying direct £100 a week to clear it.Since i recieved the first letter,which i ignored,then a second,i ignored this too,they have now sent a third letter claiming they are coming to take goods and i will be charged £95.I have not spoken to them or signed anything i have not made any contact at all. I would just like to know if this is the right way to go?? and make sure they can not do as they are claiming?.. Any advice would be great.....
