  10. even though it is registered against CL Finance on my credit report
  11. If I send the request and I find it is some sort of bank/intrest charges. Will I have to pay this now? Is there any way of getting the default removed before 2011?
  12. The accounts were originally with HSBC when I started with debt management. They sold the debt onto Metropolitan (without telling me) I payed monthly payments to Metropolitan for a long time, they then send me a letter saying they had sold the debt on to CL Finance and not to make any more payments to them, but to continue paying as they would sort things out with CL Finance. There was obviously a breakdown in communication somewhere along the way (I was just doing as instructed). I never missed a payment, but CL Finance transposed the accounts and the incorrect payment was going against the incorrect account. They tried to hit me with a CCJ in 2007 which I then paid the account in full to avoid the CCJ (not knowing I had a default) I am thinking of sending a subject access request, but I am not sure who too. Should it be HSBC, Metropolitan, CL Finance or all three. As I want to try and ascertain all the correct dates to fight my case as I know I have paid every month untill the accounts where paid in full.
  13. Thank you very much Harrassed senior If I was on debt management and a payment was being made every month can they still do this?
  14. Hi Guys, can anyone advise on the following: I had a credit agreement with HFC bank in 2001 for £400 (got a PS 2)missed some payments etc but eventually got back on track. I finally finished paying for the stuff I had got in March 2003 (I checked with the person I made my last debit card payment to, who confirmed balance was 0) was moving house at the time etc so didn't bother to tell them as thought I would have no more dealings with them. I received a letter from Thames Credit on 07/03/2008,asking me to call them as they had apparently been trying to contact me at my previous address.I called them. 10/03/2008 I received another letter from TC stating they where working on be half of a group called Aktiv Kapital Group and they are now the legal owner of the outstanding balance on the account with HFC for £671 told them had payed in full. 18/03/08 final letter stating be patient while they collect statements etc. to this date heard nothing... if they come back now will tell them its now over 6 years old but they put a default on my credit file in 2005. Can anybody help? is the default enforceable?
