Hi guys, bit worried, need some help please. I am not the most legal sighted person and have been bluffing argos for some time now. I have asked for £284 back and have the standard 'we will give u a goodwill of £75' which i am not accepting. Anyway I recieved court letter today as I am fed up, have sent the 2 letters giving them time to cooperate but no joy so they have till 2nd Nov to reply. Does anyone think they will actually go the full hog to court and if so I dont really know what I am doing and am worried I will lose and waste my time??? Please help....

Taken them to court in a few weeks for £284 guys so let u know how i get on! I got exactly the same letter word for word! How do u work out the 8% am i being really dumb cos i want interest!!!!

Hi all! I am taking these jokers to court in a few weeks as they have fobbed me off with the same response as you guys. Goodwill gesture of £75 when they owe me £284. Why do they bluff u all the way to court??? Thought they were supposed to give in by now?! Have paid for court fee now but i am worried they will beat me somehow as I have sent back all the highlighted charges they sent me instead of making a copy. Will i need to reorder?!!! HELP!! Hello, I have had no joy with these idiots. They have wasted my time and keep offering me stupid Pay offs nowhere near what they owe in charges! I have had noc choice but take them to court, however, I had my credit file from them, highlited all the charges and sent it back to them without making a copy of all the charges I had asked for so when It goes to court I have no evidence of those bank charges. Have copy of all the letters I have sent them but does anyone think I should reorder a copy of bank charges to refer to in court or won't this matter? I am paranoid about losing my case although I know its rare. Advice pleaseeeeeeeee!

Hi all, am new here but have just requested charges back from numerous companies. Argos card services were very quick to reply. Took 1 week. We'll see what happens. Have only recieved £300 in charges but money is money. [problematic]! I have a question though. I have just sent a request for my charges from Barclaycard where I closed my credit card account a year ago but can i still claim back over the 6 years? I have asked them to send me charges file neway. Help please. Cheers guys. Matt
