Hfo/turnbull - old Barclaycard debt - moving default date

Hi all i have been dealing with HFO over the last few months regards a old Barclaycard done the CCA and SARS to Barclaycard. Barclays have failed to reply and HFO have sent reams of paper work most of which is nonesense and today i got a letter from Turnbull/Rutherford detaing their clients claim and a copy of the default notice which shows a default date of 12/12/05 (so just outside the SB date) along with a detailed "account transfer" notice from Barclays to HFO CAYMAN and then HFO CAYMAN to HFO IRELAND . Alarms bells rang with the very small print "For the avoidance of doubt this letter is formal notification of the assignment of your debt to HFO CAPITAL LIMITED,a company incorporated under the laws of Ireland with company number 446327 However on ringing Barclaycard today they confirm the last payment was in June 2005 so it appears HFO have moved the default date a few months so they can claim. What would be the best move Thanks -

Hi guys new to this so please bear with me and forgive any mistakes ! I have been getting phone calls at work from HFO but everytime i decline to answer their questions so they always put the phone down on me. However today i have a letter from them giving me a FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT offer knocking £2000 off what they claim i owe them. Now i know i do owe Braclays a small sum from 2005 but nowwhere near what these guys are asking for and this is the very first i have heard from them and to be honest was thinking the debt was SB but not sure also the card was taken out in 2001 with ppi so again not sure if the debt is enforceable Any advice welcome

Hi guys/girls need some advice. The ex wife had an insurance with some firm and took a credit agreement out with amber and then defaulted on it. I paid the depoist on my d/card and and she had to sign the credit agreement, now amber have taken the full amount due ( £300 ) from my debit card. I only agreed to pay the depoist and did not sign any papers so can they do this Cheers for any help
