Thanks everyone for your replies,advice and encouragement.I have been reading through your posts and cant believe the hassle you have had with MBNA.Surely some of the things they get up to cant be legal?I am going to spend the weekend sorting out the letters that you have advised me to send and look forward to their replies!It really does help to read your posts and gives me some idea of what to expect and how to deal with it.I feel sorry for people who perhaps dont have the internet and are dealing with it on their own.Well I have gone from:confused: to in the last 48 hours!Well kind of anyway!!!Thanks again for your help and I will keep reading all of your posts,Jono.

Thanks for the replys SteveH2508 & dpick and the copy of the letter which I will send today.I must admit I am quite surprised at how nasty MBNA have become in such a short period of time as well!After reading through the forums posts though I can see that so many other people are receiving the same kind of treatment.It's ironic that the first creditor we choose to contact and arrange reduced payments ends up being the worst!What a great forum this is with so much information and help!Anyway thanks for the help guys and what a relief it is to find this forum.i'm not saying that's it,it's all going to be easy now but it is really daunting when you haven't got a clue! Hi all,I am new to these forums and like a lot of other people here am in huge debt!One of my creditors is MBNA who I am on a 3 month payment plan (Unknown to them I am in the process of sorting out a debt management plan with CCCS as well) with paying them £50 a month. I thought the constant phone calls,text messages and mobile calls (Totaling as many as 10 times a day) would stop now we had agreed a reduced payment! Anyway today I received a card in the post saying I will call tomorrow between 8am and 8 pm (At my home:o) and if this is inconvenient please telephone this number.It doesn't say who it is from apart from 2 miniscule lines of text at the bottom of the card which when looked at through a magnifying reads MBNA and their address! My question is has anyone else experienced this from them and have any ideas of how to deal with it.Thanks Jono.
