  2. Sent of my DPA letter and today 22/6/2006, i have received the standard letter... Completion of request for a list of transactions and charges - X/XXXXXXXX-X. I confirm that copies of duplicate statements have been ordered and will be sent to you under separate cover at the latest by 2nd June 2006 With regard to your request for information relating to manual intervention on your account, HBOS plc is under no statutory obligation to record this information and therefore, I am unable to assist further with this request.   3. Perhaps they are more likely to close your account if you are overdrawn? Or maybe likely to keep it open if you had a few thousand quid in? ummmm
  4. Okay heres a question. You've managed to get your money back, either by the bank falling over and giving it back or going to court. Then the bank says its going to close your account (is this legal) and does so. What about all the direct debits etc set up on your account. They will go unpaid obviously, thus probably costing you more in charges from other institutions. I wonder if its all worth the trouble unless you can then take the bank to court again for closing your account and incurring more charges. thoughts....
