Potential Mis-sold SKY TV package upgrade

Hi Andy, Sky have an app where you can view your package, billing etc but this is actually adding channels to my TV package. Not the Sky go App (Which I don't think works with Sky Q anyway) The two channels have been added to my package. -
Hi Everyone, just want to get peoples thoughts on this. I had an offer on my Sky TV app that said I could have two sky sports channels for an additional £5 a month (31 days contract). However, When I tried to add this the app told me my new package price would go up from £71 to £280 - Quite an increase!!!! So I used the online chat thing and typed to one of their customer service reps. I sent them a screenshot of the offer that was showing in my app and he went away. Came back a few minutes later and he said he could put both those channels on my account for just £4 a month on top of what I was currently paying - So I went ahead. When I checked my online billing the next day after the channels had been added, my next months bill had risen by nearly £30 - even taking into account they pro-rata the first months charge the most it could have been would be £8 more in my opinion. the second month down the line was showing an increase over my usual bill of £13 - so way more than I agreed to pay. I got in contact with someone else at Sky using the chat and showed them the screenshots - and they basically said that no matter they did they couldn't add the sports channels for £4 as promised and then ended the chat. Do I have any rights here?

Okay. Eventually I got through to MCOL in Northampton and they have no record of any judgment with the case number on the letter. Combined with the fact that nothing is on my credit report. I am wondering if it’s genuine at all! I’m thinking about not filling it in and seeing what happens (if anything)

Hi, I need some advice on what to do I received an attachment of earnings form which the creditor is my former landlord and it states i owe him just over £5000. The thing is I haven’t been to court for this or had any paperwork For it and there is no judgment recorded for it on my credit file at my old or new address. What should I do? Blakey

I'm not entirely sure what to do with this one thing that I noticed on my original loan agreement where it states the rates of interest. Interest is charged at the fixed rate of 0.80% per day on the balance outstanding, equating to 292.00% per annum. This is a rate capped product which means you will never have to pay back more than double the amount you borrowed (The total amount of credit shown above) including interest and all other charges. Therefore can I dispute some of the amount owed as they are asking for more than double even though they clearly state in my agreement that I will never have to pay back more than double? -
Name of the Claimant ? Uncle Buck Finance LLP Date of issue – 19 JUL 2017 Date of issue XX + 19 days ( 5 day for service + 14 days to acknowledge) = XX + 14 days to submit defence = XX (33 days in total) - What is the claim for – the reason they have issued the claim? The defendant owes the claimaint £864.00 under a regulated loan agreement with Uncle Buck Finance LLP dated 12/10/2015 (debt) despite formal demand for payment of the debt the defendant has failed to pay and the claimant claims £800.00 and further claims interest thereon pursuant to section 69 of the county court act 1984 limited to one year to the date hereof at the rate of 8.00% per annum amounting to £64.00 What is the value of the claim? £995 Is the claim for - a Bank Account (Overdraft) or credit card or loan or catalogue or mobile phone account? PDL When did you enter into the original agreement before or after 2007? after 2007 Has the claim been issued by the original creditor or was the account assigned and it is the Debt purchaser who has issued the claim. Original Creditor Were you aware the account had been assigned – did you receive a Notice of Assignment? Yes Did you receive a Default Notice from the original creditor? Yes Have you been receiving statutory notices headed "Notice of Default sums" – at least once a year ? Not sure Why did you cease payments? rent increase meant I couldn't pay What was the date of your last payment? can't remember Was there a dispute with the original creditor that remains unresolved? no Did you communicate any financial problems to the original creditor and make any attempt to enter into a debt management plan? no

Help...Lowell now Clarity chasing old Abbey Account 'debt'
blakey1152 replied to blakey1152's topic in Santander
Thank you all so much..I will get that underway in the morning -
Hi all, I had an overdraft with the Abbey and after they revoked the overdraft and required instant payback I had to move banks as couldn't afford to pay it all back at once and they wouldn't accept anything else. This was in 2006. Its been long gone off my credit files and last year I got a letter from Lowell asking for payment of this overdraft and I sent them back a letter saying that it was statute barred and hadn't heard nothing until this morning. Today I get 2 letters in the same envelope, One from Lowell saying that I've not repaid my Lowell Financial Account and that its been sent to Clarity Credit Management and a letter from Clarity saying they've been instructed to make arrangements with me and have offered me a reduced settlement amount. Should Lowell have passed the debt on considering it was statute barred and what should I do now? Thankyou all in advance Blakey

I have a receipt from the same funeral director signed with paid in full on it.
-
Hi Everyone, Hope someone can help me as I am not entirely sure what to do. First, a bit of background information. My mum passed away from cancer in April 2013 and as she knew she was dying she had gone and paid out for the entire funeral and made all the arrangements so as we didn't have to worry about it. However, after the funeral had been and gone I got a couple of calls from the funeral directors - apparently at the funeral the director had paid out £200 of his own money for travel costs to the musician who played at the funeral. I had then referred him to the executors of the will as in my opinion the funeral was paid for in its entirity so the fact that he had paid out £200 of his own money was of his own free will. I have received a letter from Bell Park Kerridge Solicitors asking for the £200 and if I don't pay within 7 days they will issue court proceedings without any further reference. Surely I can't be liable for this £200 debt - I have never signed any sort of credit agreement for it and I didn't ask him to pay the £200 (in fact didn't even know about til afterwards) Any advice would be greatly appreciated Thankyou Blakey
