  2. Hi I have been having problems with scottish power and now tody they are asking for a warrant to cut of the elctricity. its a private rented accomidation. Anyway this is how it happened, last july my pwife and i seperated all the bill were in hr name i assumed that she was paying them every month as i was given her the money to but she wasnt she was putting the money by soshe could leave. so i asked to take over the scottish power bill from the 27th july 2007, fine they said in january i rceived a bill for £3616 and thats was including what my ex partner owed so i have been on the phone back and forth try to get them to sort his out i have also been to cab but didnt find them very helpful, i was advised to put a letter in to scottish power which i did stating the deatails that my wife and i nolonger live together and she is responsible for the debt before the 27th july she has told them that she will make arrangments to pay it as she is not disbuting it, we received a letter back appoligising for the difficulties we hve encountered trying to resolve this and that they have updated there records toshow tat my ex is responsible for anything before the 27t july and we both hve to call the asap. my ex is away with her studie so i called againhis morning and am now being told that they are not getting involved in this dispute and i know owe them over 5000 what do i do know and where do i stand pleas help Thnks Raymie
