us versus dept-is there any way i could meet with any of these people, i want them to explain how i could have defaulted when all the paym ents were made????

hi all, just joined this site, like you guys i bought a car from YCC 2004, made every payment on time but used my right to return the car after paying exactly half the loan, the insurance could not be cancilled and i had to keep paying these, but have no car!!!!!!! i have just been informed i have a default notice on my credit file from direct legal, i should have paid 3347.00 but i paid 3881.00, the loan is all settled now and shows as settled on my credit file, how do i get the default removed, i have just had a knock back from a mortgage company, will a lawyer take this on?
