Hi all I have had three credit cards over the last 10 years. I really did not know that i had ppi untill recently !!. Can i claim on a rbs card that i opened over six years ago ?? What information should i put in my initial letter ?? Thanks

Hi All, I will try to keep this brief !!. 1. Had a loan with Lombard direct (1997 i think ) 2. Went through a crappy divorce and missed a few payment. 3. Makenzie hall hasselled me into paying for a few months (2005 i think ) 4. BAD health problems ,,, missed payements,,, more hassle ,,,ignored all correspnondance. 5.Letter today from First credit stating that i must start paying them ?? 6. Final Paragraph sayS,,, In accordance with Data Protection Act 1998 they will comply with any request of PERSONAL INFO of me held on their computer system ????. 7. Should I CONTACT THEM/ START PAYING AGAIN/ HELP PLEASE !!!!

Three years ago Mc Hall caught up with me chasing a stat barred debt. Not knowing the score i started paying them £35 a month. After spending much time on this web site and also because of a change in work/personal curcumstances i became brave. For 18 months now i have paid NOTHING, i have ignored all correspondence,,, phone calls,,,texts,,,reduction of debt letters,, threats of door step challenges etc etc etc... My life is so much happier, with no stress or worry.. Im telling you this as 18 months have passed and i dont now feel the worry of not answering there calls and letters... They are **** and stupid peolpe, dont let these numpties rule your life . Whats the worst that can happen ???,,,they eventually take me to court ( Unlikley),,and they will get less than they ever got per month... :rolleyes:

Hi All I have been paying Muck Hall £35 per month for many years now, today i recieve a letter from Pace Forward asking me to call them regarding a personal matter....... I only have the one debt ( lombard/Muck Hall).. What should i do ????

Last week i recieved a letter from MH threatening me with a doorstep visit,now they have written offering a reduced settlement deal.... From £11,000 to £8,000,,,,, what does all this mean,,,????...Any advise ??

I have recently been very ill,thus i fell behind with two months payments to Makenzie Hall,,,They have sent me a letter saying unless i pay the debt infull iwill be having a visit from Meritforce,,,,,, My question is,,,,, what is the likleyhood of this happening as i cant afford to repay the last two payements..... I have however paid this months repayment.

Hi All I have an outstanding debt following a crappy divorce some years ago. This Debt was with lombard Direct and has since been passed onto MH who have decided to treat me like a child. I have recently had heart surgery and have been getting ssp only from my employers ,MH called the other day demanding a "Lump Sum" payement. I tried explaining my situation and the women was just rude,asking me if i owned my own car/house etc. She threatened that MH will be contacting various "Bodies" to establish what i own etc... Can they do this,,,,who do they contact,,,,what information can they get,,,,,Do i registar my car into my girlfriends name ???? Please Help Me !!!
