  1. Hi folks, i am maxine, stay at home mum to two kiddies, and expecting a third in october. I joined this forum as my husband and i are having such a hard time with lloyds tsb and i have no idea what to so about them. I moved address last june, 600 miles away, and although i hardly used my lloyds account, i went in with my husband on the 5th of july to change our address on our seperate lloyds account. Lloyds confirmed to me that they have record of this, but my address did not get changed as it should have been. They admitted liability. Unfortunately i went over drawn with their account charge of £7 and had no idea of this, due to not receiving letters. I checked the account in january, as i was about to put £100 in it to pay off some of my overdraft (250) and saw that i was 179 pounds over my over draft. I phoned them, as i say they admitted liabilitya nd refunded £100 of the charges straight off...however they then told me that because of their account charge comng off each month from november to feb, i wad been charged and a sum of £230 would be taken off my account at the beginning of april! This has since dropped to 79 pounds after i asked them if they were allowed to remove charges from means tested income bank account funds. I want to claim my charges back though if at all possible after this, because it made me so mad and took a long time to sort out, plus £79 is still a lot of money. Moving on...my husband stupidly increased his loan with lloyds from 3 grand to 7and a half grand, taking our monthly payments from £90 to £230 (PPI included) without consulting me (its in his name) 2 years ago. We managed for a while, but it leaves us really tight each month so i asked him to try to cancel his PPI to which they said we only had had 30 days to cancel it (no leaflet to tell us that like they said we had!) and that we would have to take out a bigger loan to cancel it. On the 29th of feb, hubby was notified that his loan account had been moved to collections, why we dont know, we have never missed a payment. I then phoned them that day and arranged a new lower payment, the lowest they would accept was £129 which i was delighted about. It was due to start on our net payment due which was yesterday. Yesterday they took £230 which put us £100 over drawn and incurred us charges. My hubby went into the branch and they denied all knowledge of the agreement. I then phoned collections bak and they confirmed that there was indeed an agreement made, it was on record. However it was never implemented, because apparently on the 29th our account was no longer actually held by collections so collections should not have made the agreement! We were not notified of this. I complained that this was not our fault, it was theirs, and that they should fix what has been done, ie refund £100 to our account and cancel the charges. They said they cant as our account is now with customer services, whom i spoke to and said they cant either, because they are not authorised! so basically lloyds has once again admitted fault, but we are once again still in debt because they wont rectify their mistakes. I am due to see the manageress with husband on friday to make a full complaint over the whole 2 situations and try to get sorted out. Any advice would be very much welcome.
