  1. Having sent the shop receipt and the letter from UKPC saying that with a shop receipt they would drop the PNC to Rossendales Collection (after sending the receipt to UKPC in the first place) got a letter this week from Churchill Recovery Solutions. This letter says it's the second one (it's the first) and that I have seven days to reply or "collection procedures will continue". Closer inspection shows the address is Rossendales Collections and the email is collections@rossendales.com You'd have thought that if I hadn't paid up six months ago I'm hardly likely to start now. I know that they never take anyone to court (because they'd lose) but I wonder if anyone has taken them to court for emotional stress, harrasment, threatening behaviour, etc. Whether it would make it more fun if it were a class action suit. UKPC taken to court by 1200+ people looking for damages. How much to put them out of business??
  2. Well, it's been awhile (over a month) since I got the letter from UKPC saying that if I could send them a copy of a receipt from the time I got "fined" by them they would drop all matters. Sent them a copy and considered it case closed. Oh, how wrong was I?? We had a message on the answer phone last night from Rossendales Collects asking us to call them back, and this is still on going. However the surprisenly nice lady on the phone did say that if I sent them a copy of the receipt they would consider the case closed. Now where did I put that blooming thing......????
  3. Sent off my first letter last week, including an extra bit asking why it took them two months to send me the notification in the first place. Got a lovely letter back from the appeals department telling me: even though, as stated earlier in the thread, it is the Driver and not the Keeper... and no mention about the delay either. So I ignored the letter and got the FINAL REMINDER today giving me two weeks to pay the increased amount. Time for the second letter I think, and see if they can tell me about the two month delay.
  4. Well, it has taken them 2 months to send the first letter (parking charge issue - Jan 26, enforcement notice - Mar 25) which I suppose is their way of making sure that if you were using the cap park legally you'd lose any evidence... damned shame that I kept those reciepts Now going to send off one of the first of Bernie's standard reply letters (thanks), along with a copy of the reciept... hmmm, do you suppose that I might win my "appeal"??? ;-)
