  1. With my HFC SAR I got several sheets of abbreviations and what they meant so that I could decipher the data provided. Each system they extracted from had its own codes and therefore several sheets to explain what they meant for each one.
  2. Sounds like a request is needed for them to provide evidence of how they came by the facts used to reconstruct the document if they don't have the original, quoting the CPUTR 2008. OMWO
  3. I'd like to know as well, including effective dates, as this could be before my CO was awarded.
  4. Likewise, at least two debts in a DMP were sold on whilst there was no lapse in payments under the plan. The other one that resulted in a CO was also up to date in a DMP when the OC got greedy and demanded higher payments and went for a CCJ.
  5. When did this change? I've got a CO debt that has now changed hands twice since the CO was granted about three years ago.
  6. Can't you still reclaim the miss-sold PPI to help offset the amount owed?
  7. What annoys me is that the creditor is granted the CO on unsecured debt to make it 'equitable' and then sells the debt on. By selling the debt for less than the CCJ amount it should lose that equitable status as they are no longer securing the debt against default, having sold it. The buyer hasn't paid the creditor the full amount and so the situation is inequitable now, i.e. it is secured to allow the buyer to make a profit, not to cover their losses.
  8. I was thinking of Marks, but that's not a word you would want to associate with knickers...
  9. I wonder if a couple of SARs to the OC will put a further dent in their profits when no CCAs are forthcoming?
  10. Didn't they even disclose it you? It must have been a very big secret!
  11. If it's Marlin I'm surprised they aren't using their in house Sols Mortimer Clarke.
  12. Are they allowed to add a fee to any payments you make to them? See the box at the bottom left of the letter.
  13. You'll probably find that the CCCS use the BBA guidelines, but I wonder how the guidelines have been updated in line with the cost of food, fuel and energy.
  14. I just went to their online portal and paid using the reference I had. I save copies of the online receipts in case there were any queries and never had a single problem.
  15. You just need to set yourself a reminder to make each payment on time, log into their payment portal and use a debit card (and print off or save the receipt as proof).
  16. Yes, I still paid monthly. I probably could have gone back on DD the following year, but paid online anyway until the year after. When the bill came through the post I just called them and asked to go on DD.
  17. I was in this situation a few years ago. I paid the shortfall, but had to pay on line for the rest of the year on the council's website. I did this for the following year as well then asked to go back on DD, which I've been on for the last couple of years now. OMWO
  18. And then report them to Ofcom for the silent calls - big fines.....
  19. These points in particular stand out: - •Avoid omissions including failure to provide information in a clear and timely manner or to disclose material facts. •Enforcement action should be proportionate and reasonable - do not expect consumers to pay disproportionately high sum in compensation. •Do not alter terms of the contract unilaterally without a valid reason.
  20. The third address will be the mailing company that handles their bulk threat-o-gram mailings
  21. That message has got your client references in it at least twice - it needs editing!
  22. How do I complain about these idiots texting me when I've already replied with stop. I've received a second text today from the same people. The first one had a link to ezpaylink.co.uk, this one is ezpaydayonline.co.uk, both leading to the same website. There's no contact numbers on the site, no company registration details or credit licence information. The site is registered in Moldavia, the texts were from international numbers, probably USA. I'm not the slightest bit interested in a loan. OMWO
