Hi, would just like to thank everyone, as reading all your post finally pushed me to ring the bank, and unlike many of you they were very helpful (i wonder why), they have suspended my managed loan for 3 months and stopped all interest on it so hopefully can sort somethng out in the next 3 months thanks again for all your help will keep you updated of what happens in next 3 months.

Hello like many of you i feel i ws forced into a managed loan, i had took out a personal loan with HSBC with payment protection, on losing my job i applied for the payment protection but was told as i only worked part time it did not cover me ( wasn't told this when i took out the loan) I have been paying back the managed loan for 2 years now at £200 a month. but this has been such a struggle as i am on benfits of £320 a month which is made up of income support and carers allowance i'am at my wits end of what to do as they will not help me, undecide whether to go for a debt collection agency i feel as things can't get any worse any advice would be very grateful. p.s was reading on here that they can't touch your benefits but can't find the link now.
