  1. Thank you DX, I have an AIP with HSBC, they only appear to use Experian for Mortgage Apps. While Natwest is showing on Experian, the AP marker only shows on Equifax, Finally, will asking Natwest to remove it, cause them to look at it in detail and then add it to Experian if they feel it's appropriate?
  2. Cheers Dx So could this cause a mortgage issue to be rejected? It just says AP (arrangement to pay Sept 12) nothing else, every other box is green Can and would Natwest remove this?
  3. Hi Jovanna, I did a few years back, and payed 4K less, They don't have to accept of course though!
  4. Hi Guys New to the forum, so hello! Currently looking to source a new purchase mortgage, and had narrowed the choice of with HSBC and Leeds BS. Just to be sure there were no issues with the applications I signed up to Experian and Equifax to take a look. Experian 940 Good / Equifax 463 Good - so naturally didn't think I would have any problems moving forward. Went to see HSBC on sat, they did a very quick check and gave us an AIP - then spoke to Leeds this morning who said they would run a check for an AIP. They called back to say I had been declined due to adverse credit on my Equifax report, she couldn't go into detail over the phone, but I explained about my scores and she asked me to send them through and she would take a look, I also asked for some feedback to point to what she thought was the problem. Now I can't see anything untoward except for an AP on my NatWest Current account from 2012 - the circumstances are NatWest was my main current account and I always had an authorised overdraft of £500 - In early 2012 my partner and I decided to use her account as a joint account (HSBC) so all my salary went there. I didn't automatically close the NatWest account as I thought you never know! I was still being charged for the advantage gold fee and interest on the authorised borrowing, then I received a letter from them asking me to get in touch about unauthorized lending, turns out the account had gone over the £500 limit and charges were being added. I got in touch with NatWest and they took me off advantage gold, and refunded the charges and then I set up a direct debit to clear the account. So the question is, how likely is that the actual issue, and how do I get that corrected, also will HSBC look at that too with a full application and think it's an issue also. Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated Neil
  5. I don't know these engines to well, but yeah most likely to be on the block somewhere, did the mechanic damage this?? You said you had a misfire and had some ignition work done? I would imagine if this sensor was faulty, a misfire or rough running could be a sympton;)
  6. Hi, sorry to hijack this thread, I think that is the Ignition or Knock sensor...... about £25 quid or so. I believe Delphi make one. Ill see if I can find the part number for you!! Baggyboy
  7. Hi All, Always been a regular viewer of the forum, but with my limited experience on such matters had no reason to post, However, i think it's important to show that you can Win with some of these companies. When I first posted in Jan 2008 I had no idea about DCA's etc, but with all the knowledge and kindness offered by individuals on here it helped to know your not alone. Now 2 1/2 years later I finally received a letter this week stating that and I quote "after further examination of your account it has become apparent that it is now subject to Section (5) of the Limitation Act 1980 and as such we have now closed the account and no further correspondance will be sent to you. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused by the matter...." The most annoying aspect if you look at my earlier posts, that I began to pay a little amount due to my nagging conscience and lack of knowledge, monies that quite clearly were taken fraudulently. If they hadnt been greedy then I may still be paying today. Over the 2 1/2 years I moved house and the wave of calls and letters started again. In total I reackon I've got over 200 letters from 3 different companies. And i must have received 500 calls, which when you get at work can be inconvenient or at worst embarrasing. So I urge all of you in a similar position to stick to your guns and don't crumble, because they are nothing more than bullies in suits bordering on the criminal. Best of luck to you all, another donation to the site is on its way....

Hi all, Just a follow up for info, I sent a CCA to Lowell at the start of Feb, after checking with Royal Mail, it was signed for on the 5/2/08 so the 12 days have passed and as of this morning the 20/02/08 I have still received nothing. Only 2 letters asking for last months outstanding amount (as i said earlier) i canceled the DD right away. I still get 2 or 3 texts demanding i call them immediately, and i got a phone call today which i refused to answer. Any further steps for me to take? all suggestions welcome, Baggy
