  1. Hi, in december 30th 2006 I bought an LCD tv from comet in aylesbury (england). In november 2007 they sent me a letter telling me my years warranty was coming to an end, and advised me to claim for any faults before it finnished. sure enough i had an intermittent fault and also hummed excessively, so took the tv in to the store to be repaired. After nearly 2 months of them having my tv I finally got it back today. I got home, plugged it in and tried it out and found: still had humming issue Had a dent in corner (from being dropped or smething) one of the switches on the bottom was broken/missing the picture quality was far far worse on digital than it was previously the picture flickered with the sound on analogue I demanded a refund, but they refused and said they needed to look into what the problem is - the manager said he wasn't qualified to diagnose a problem even though there is clearly physically damaged parts. What laws can I use against them to get my money back and any compensation due to the inconvienience I've faced. Are there any laws that entitle me to money back because they broke my tv. I'm appauled at how rude the manager was, and will be writing to their head office with his name as a complaint, but first I need my 800 quid back thanks in advance Ollie
