  1. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section of the forum. I want to send an email to 1st credit and the only email addy I can find is info@1stcreditltd.com. Is this the correct email to use as its about some info on my credit file? Thanks for helping. cm p.s I will of course be using my cag email to send this:cool:
  2. Upon checking my credit files today I see that 1st credit have recorded a default on my files for an account that is in dispute and since Jan 08 have been waiting for a copy of my cca. The original request was placed with connaught back then who passed the request and the account back to 1st credit. The default is logged 4 months after the original cca request was made. I was looking forward to getting my slate wiped clean next year, now unless I can get this default removed Im now looking at another 6 years with a default on my file. It really annoys the hell out of me that 1st credit have done this, and I'm sure that I'm not the 1st they've done it too either. So if any of you have any help and advise you can offer me in getting this sorted out I would be very grateful as Im not sure of the best course of action here:-? cm
  3. Good news on the mcs collection for hsbc, after they admitted to have no cca they have now cleared all info held on my file with the CRA's, checked today and its gone...Yay:D cm
  4. Mh did a crafty thing today to get me to call them. When I got in from work there was a message from them, when I listened to the message I was then informed of the call being redirected to an account manager and to have my ref number ready:o I hung up obviously when i heard this This comes after sending repeated letters (all recorded delivery) stating that the account is in dispute, also have sent the telephone harassment letter and recently the you are not invited to my home letter. In all i have requested five times now for their complaints procedure, and ive had not one reply to this or in fact any of my letters at all:mad: Is the next step for me to contact TS? and who best is also to contact as Im unsure of this? With the complaint with TS, do I contact my local one or the one local to MH? cm
  5. Thanks old andrew2007 and sidewinder for your replies. I will pass on to my friend what has been said. cm
  6. Im posting this on behalf of a friend of mine. My friend is a multi drop driver. He and other drivers he works with, work a 4 day week normally Monday to Thursday on 12 hr shifts. He is paid from 10am to 9pm with an hours guaranteed O/T from 9 till 10pm each day. Lately since all the rounds have gone quieter the drivers are finishing early, some as early as 5pm, but still getting paid till 10pm inc the o/t. Good for the drivers, but bad for the owners. To correct this the bosses want to change all the 4 day week drivers to 5 dayers with an incentive added in of a 4% pay rise to thank them for being flexible. They have an option too that has been offered by the bosses. They can choose to stay on the 4 day week as stated in their contracts, but they wont receive the 4% pay rise:eek: Also on both choices a yearly crash bonus of £500 is getting a 50% reduction as the drivers aren't crashing anymore...lol The pay rise offered is the first one they have been given in 5 years! The way my friend sees it, he loses out financially both ways as if he chooses to stay put on 4 days he loses a £250 bonus straight off and gets no pay rise yet again! If he chooses the 5 day, he works an extra day a week for 4% extra pay. Also he incurs higher fuel costs for the extra day travelling, and child care costs are increased. Plus he loses the £250 bonus! Can anyone shed any light on where my friend stands on this? Are companies allowed to offer a pay rise to those only that agree to the change of contract? If anymore info is needed in order to advise correctly, let me know and I will get it for you. Thanks for looking and I hope somebody can help with this situation:-D cm
  7. Im still getting the same problem NP. Ive been thru the firewall with a fine toothed comb and everything seems ok there. Also it only happens to me on 2 forums and both are Vb sites I did find if i click on a link once, i get the connecting page message in bottom left of screen and eventually it times out. By double clibking the links it seems to work as it should then and the page loads up:D It wont work when replying on a thread tho, for that its stop, cut, reload reply page and paste and that seems to work. This is annoying on another forum which I have a high daily post count, on here its tolerable as i rarely post, just read, read and read...lol cm
  8. Ive been getting the same happen to me NP, been getting it on other sites too. I will clear out the cache later when home and see if that works (in work atm) I had put it down to my new comodo firewall that i installed recently as this problem has only occured since installing! cm
  9. Ok will do thanks alot brassed off:D On the connaught side of things, after sending my reply to MH for there letter they have still been phoning and sending voicetexts on a daily basis. Ive made a log of when all calls were made and im firing off the telephone harassment letter on tues morn. MH have clearly not read my letter as in that letter a copy of there complaints procedure was requested, which have never been received! cm
  10. Just been sorting thru my paperwork and found this letter from MCS ( the one pasted above) and thought do i need to send back there request or should I just leave it now, basically does the letter look genuine and can it be trusted? Your help is very much appreciated:D cm

    Car Tax

Its because your car was built in 2001, as thats when the road tax was changed to be based on emissions. I would be in the same boat as you with my present car if it fell under the new road tax scheme, luckily it doesn't. But it is making me seriously look at what my next car will be. cm
  12. I was approached recently for an already settled loan with A&L by Lewis debt recovery, so maybe a link there too:rolleyes: cm
  13. I got a letter today from MCS in response to a letter I sent about the non supply of cca and them still chasing the debt. Here you go have a read for yourselves:cool: I never disputed this debt as it was mine, all I wanted was for MCS to prove to me that they had the LEGAL right to collect this debt in the 1st place, which as it clearly states "paperwork has been destroyed" This letter will now be filed very safely in case someone else tries it on for the remaining balance of a few hundred quid, which is more than likely just added charges that are left now. Big thanks to everyone. Just waiting on the outcome of connaught now, but I think that one will soon be over as well:D cm
  14. Had the same myself from connaught after i cca'd them in Jan. Got the letter saying files closed and returned to oc, also returned the po. hey presto exactly as SP says its been passed to a new dca now:o Thanks to SP a letter was sent today stating whats been said above about account in dispute etc. cm
