Are bank overdrafts covered by bankruptcy . She needs to have access to her wages ,without all the back charges being taklen off before she gets it . Need deposit and advance rent money .

hi , i have a friend and she is in deep debt and no way of sorting it out .Credit cards the lot . How much does it cost to file for bankruptcy and best place for advice . She really needs to get a fresh start so any help would be appriecaited.

If your partner has not declared income , but then gets investigated . Can the unpaid tax be claimed from both parties , even if they have separated ? Undeclared tax carried on during period they were married ?

Almost came to an agreement . But wife could not even fake being nice for a couple of weks .So I have changed my mind on the agrement . In the form she wanted me to sign it mention that I would give up all claim to pension rights . Well I had forgotten about that , I had six years of no pensionable salury ,so she has been able to add to hers . So I would be entitled to clain for that . I was about to sell myself short .

Cann,t afford a solicitor , legal aid will want bank statements etc , which would show a large amount of money going through my account. Now got a third "final offer " up to £10,000.

Now found out I,ve lost my cleaning job at the firm where my wifes sales manager . Been there about three years on a self employed basis .I put in a monthy invoice . Was my only source of income ! Really don,t give a s---t any more told her not accepting final offer , and the settlement has gone up .

You are so right ! She, in plan English , is being a stroppy cow ! I start to try to put a point across and she rises her voice and says shes not being aggressive . I wish her friends and family could hear her . She has always resented me send money to my ex for care of my other daughter , now age 15 . "you can afford to sent her money , even when we are struggling ." well believe me she has struggled ! , must be hard only having 40 pairs of shoes and countless number of clothes .

Please provide a copy of any documents signed by myself in regard to the property at ------ Also provide a copy of any document signed in regard to --------- I have been advised that , at this point all assets are to be considered as joint assets .And as such no attempt should be made by either party to despose of any assets until agreement from both parties is obtained . You have implied that no further food will be purchased for my consumption .I would , if this is the case request my own space in the fridge and freezer. The washing machine and other amenities are to be considered joint assets and as such will be making use of them . As far as use of electric and water etc and indeed household expenses go, my current financial situation prevents a equal contribution . I would be happy to have this decided upon at a future date .And understand that you will be making a claim against these in any settlement . I ask that all further offers and requests be made in writing. I am sorry this may seem cold and calculated but we do not seem to able to discus these matters in a calm and controlled manner , this is the only option . What do you think of that ??? I also asked her to , but not in writing , remind me, what it was I actually saw in her in the first place !

The house she rents out is in her name and bought with her deposit , as she keeps reminding me . Present house is also in her name , however , deposit was filtered through my account . She pulled afew strokes to obtain mortgage, boss enhanced earnings . I have been offered £8000 to leave and do my own thing ,as she puts it . But job prospects pity poor and at £500 a month for a decent place any money would soon go . She says she,ll take care of all payments loans credit cards etc . so in itself not a bad settlement offer .But I cann,t understand what her objection to renting me the other property . Has she other plans ?? Basically if i were to play dirty , she would lose her job and both houses. Want conformation that when you get married all assets are considered joint . And that as a house husband that has contributed to household finances , be it in a small way, has equal entitlement .

Purely unrelated question , A friends wife used husbands account to launder money and avoid tax . Would they both be put away ?

My bank statements show that the deposit for the house came from my bank account. Surely theres many couples that only have one person on the deeds ,partner may have a bad credit history , so not included on mortgage application . I think she will realise this and know she will need to back off from the threats ,she will not want a third party poking about in her finances or mine. But she does not seem to want to let me live in the other house . Wants to get rid of it . She will only get back £5000 from it . I will not make a claim against that . But feel the house we are in at present is completely differant . I did most of the work renovating it , new bathroom , kitchen, heating I stripped off most of the old plaster throughout the house . Value increased by £50,000. And the garden is un recognisable ! In fact most people say we could get another house on the plot . Anyway will keep you informed of developements .

It's hard to know what she's planning without knowing more about your legal position re. locks.... you really do need to know this. I am pretty sure she will not change locks , I am still collecting daughter from school , doing her tea etc . She has a 4 bed roomed house rented out in next town , I've suggested she could rent it to me at greatly reduced rate ! SILENCE was deafening

She now wants to take over payments that i have been making , boiler insurance , house insurerane .Want them in her name . I only earn £250 from a evening cleaning job so could do with the extra . I pay money to my ex for your 15 year old daughter .I can show previous bank statement showing payments for electric and gas etc so i think shes fretting now .

Although theres plenty i would like to do to her , i would never put my feelings before the welfare of my daughter .

Why is it she cant see things both ways . Not a great example i know but , she bought a puppy ,"my money " , but who puts it out at night and lets it out in mornings and cleans its mess . Shes never taken it for a walk since shes had it !

hi, not sure this is right place but the forum has help with debt problem i,ve had . Back ground is i am a house husband and stay at home with daughter , now 6 . Had decking jobs and do have a part time cleaning job . Not had an affair or and thing like that , just grown apart and now errate the s--- out of each other . She claims the house is hers , "i,ve paid for it " . She doesn,t want to see reason and just keeps pushing saying i should do this and do that . But basically i have no money of my own and no where to go . What should i do ??????
