Hi Off to Small Claims Court in Feb08 for Advent screen crack, actually beneath the spot on case where you would press it shut. Many letters to DSG who encouraged me to get 'Independent Report'. Got the report and the Tech Guys (in house technicians!) completely ignored it. The company line is that LCD screens MUST have been damaged. They will not accept any responsibilty for possible design fault (poor build). My screen has never had any impact. So..will take all my letters plus I/Report AND laptop to court. But be warned it's cost me about £150 so far. No guarantees of success but if any advice on similar problem welcomed.
