I keep getting phone calls from a company calling thenselves LCS stating that i owe EDF energy £45 from 2011/2012 Im 100% certain i have paid EDF l but cant provide proof as i dont keep receipts for that amount of time so they keep on phoning me demanding payment. I keep telling them im not paying the bill twice, there response is EDF can recall this debt at any time so we will keep phoning you until the debt is paid. The last time they phoned i told them i would only deal with them in writing so they sent me a letter that arived on friday offering a settlement - without prejudice reducing the amount to £35. I have 10 days to reply oras stated in the letter they will instigate formal legal proceedings against me that will incur charges They phoned me again today but i wouldnt go through the identity check so they hung up Should i just pay it again as i cant provide proof that i have already paid this bill or what other options do i have Thanks

Over the last few months i have been receiving these annoying phonecalls. Some indian person calls me at home they dont even say hello but start with im speaking to (Insert my name) and you live at (insert my address) your 47 years old. As soon i ask them who they are they just hang up. It just seems weird to me that they would state my personel details and i find it rather intimidating. are they trying to get more information out of me to steal my identity or something like that ? Im registered with TPS, is there anything else i can do to stop these ###kers from calling me

I just made a payment plan with them to pay off an outstanding debt,I had to phone them as all emails went unanswered, when i asked for the details to be sent to me in writing they refused and said they couldnt do it, Im just worried that they wont keep there word and take more than what was arranged ,

thanks mandy,, an interesting and informative site the Benefits Claim and Mental health - Your Benefits and how to claim one, ive emailed my local CAB just waiting on an answer, i would phone the benifits office about it but ive received so must wrong info from them in the past i dont trust them in giving me the right info, i know you can request the medical data at anytime, but if i request it after the medical after they have sent it to the benifits office im afraid things wont be the same as when i was at the medical, if you follow my meaning as for the other site the only thing i have to say is britains govermant has gone crazy, that idiot should have been deported a long time ago,

no im afraid they arnt having a laugh, and unless you conform to there every whim there is a possibilty they will stop your benifit, they have us over a barrel, and yes i agree it is disgusting

with these people your guilty of abusing the system before you can prove your inocent, then they make you run throught hoops to get the money your entitled to, i wonder how many people give up because they make it so hard, ive just been sent the IB50 questionaire im just dreading the outcome, i dont get that your doctor who knows you well, knows your not well enough to work but somebody who has never met you goes by the information that is sent by somebody who has only met you only once, and in most cases the information theysend is wrong, can you ask to see the information the medical examinator has written about you in the exam and demand a copy at that time, just so you can compare it later when they deny your claim?

i did actually untune all the stations so all you can see is static, when i got caught the 1st time i didnt know my rights as to letting them in my house, having read that they have no rights to enter unless they have a warrent ill just deny them access,

having been caught for not having a tv license, (bad boy) ive now uninstalled my tv from my ariel and set top box and just use my tv for dvds and playstation, only ive been watching programmes through sites like the bbc i player/demand five/itv catch up, surf the channel ect, through my computer, i dont have a pc/tv card installed, i was wondering could i still get fined for watching these channels through my pc, thanks

no i never signed a credit agreement with them, i told them that over the phone but when i spoke so one of there people they said that because i had shopped with them i had agreed to there terms, they have now sent my account the NDR debt recovery, and they are demanding payment,

thank you , i was wondering am i in my rights refusing to pay anything untill they remove the late payment charges or will that just make things worse
