  1. Ok tried to call however was told it was auto generated email even though it didn't seem like one and was advised to wait in a response to my complaints so no further forward on this one
  2. Added wonga on to this list now had an email asking to call them how should I address this?
  3. Ok next is perfect homes 3 quarters of the way through however now in discussions with Step change, I do know insurance etc where all added without given the choice on this, any advice? Template letters etc on how to deal with these muppets! Have read it can be difficult dealing with them!
  4. So after sending an email to one of the above in regards to irresponsible lending, I have just logged in on one of the accounts and the account has vanished offline as if it didn't exist? Very strange!

Hey all Not been on here in while! ok so here goes My wife has got herself into a bit of debt without my knowledge and is now struggling to make payments etc due to us moving home and the expense that has caused so Im starting with Provident She had been paying nearly £60 a week to provident for a £2200 loan it looks it split into 2 different loans £700 Flat rate interest 68.50% APR 191.20% £1500 same interest rates as above this is causing a great deal of grief in the household soo please could anyone help with advise on how to go about tackling this one?   9. Ok after sending those emails as above I have had loads of voicemails and texts left to contact them and threatening me with loads of charges dispite my payment proposal which has been ignored. should i just continue ignoring them or is there anything else i should be sending via email etc?

I have had an account with yourselves for some time and always repaid in a timely manner. Unfortunately the spiralling effect of such loans has left me in an awful predicament meaning I cannot fulfil my liability in one go any more and I therefore propose a payment plan structure that allows me to repay the balance over time, alternatively I will cease all repayments as I cannot afford this any more. Recieved a letter today but not on behalf of Capital One but shopacheck, took a loan out with the about a 2 years ago but for the last few months no agent has called for payment dispite calling them several times. Letter from Howard Cohen & co solicitors Notice of pending legal action We have been instructed to prepare court papers for issue against you for non payment of the above debt. Our client has asked that we take this final opportunity to remind you of the implications of action being taken against you through the court. If court action is taken, additional costs will be added to the debt and you will be responsble for payment of these costs Debt due £210.50 Costs £65.00 If you fail to make payment following reciept of the court papers, judgment will be entered andenforcement action will be taken.   18. In work today a colleage was being harassed by a DCA on the work's telephone. They had phoned her for payment on an account that she had been paying with them (think it was wescom or something like that). She was paying £50 every 4 weeks agreement was £50 a month The debt was originally Vodafone for £230 bt now owes £600, over £300 was cancellation fee from vodafone. They phoned colleague at work for payment, colleage explained she could pay £50 as agreed but was aked for more as she was behind a payment due to a direct debit returned, she therefore explained she could only afford £50 as she needs to save money for deposit for a flat as landlord is selling up. Dca Had replied with that it is not acceptable as this debt was a priorty and that she should go and borrow money from family and friends, colleage explained that wasnt an option DCA replied why do you not have family or friends, colleague explained herself further and asked for communication in writing as she was getting upset DCA replied with we dont communicate in writing. DCA also asked why she wasnt in work last week as they had tryed contacting her on many occasions. DCA have given her until tommorow and will be phoning back. What can she do as she isnt able to pay they are asking for £113 tommorow? Any help would be appricated!!! Thanks (also thanks for helping with my own thread also) sorry for the essay

Today I had two missed calls on my mobile while at work so couldnt answer them, bot withheld numbers second call went to answer phone, nobody speaking but sounded like a call centre in background. Not often I get withheld calls on my mobile so think they could be from DCA I guess these calls should be ignored aswell?
