  7. thanks bookworm. on another note, if i were to put "since opening my account" and say i had opened the account over 15 years ago, do they still have to send me all those statements? or is there a limit to how far they have to go back? thanks k
  8. Hi I am just about to send my DPA letter off to Barclays. I have been with Barclays 5 years 9 months (approx). If i were to ask for six years of statements in my letter, can they be smart and attempt to delay me with "you have not been a customer for that length." Or, can i simply just ask for all the statements since opening the account? Thanks K
  9. Hi I am just about to send my DPA letter off to Halifax, and Barclays. Should i be asking for only 6 years statements, or can i ask for all the statements since opening my account, which dates back 15 years? Thanks K
  10. not sure, however, i will be contacting them today to ask for 6 years, so will let people know on a new thread, or me versus barclays i guess.
  11. just to note, last year when i was looking for a mortgage, i was required to get previous statements from my barclays accounts, because i am a contractor and get paid differently throughout the year i wanted to prove my earnings over a period of two years for the lender. when i contacted barclays, they had no problem supplying me with any length of statements i so wished. they also arrived very promptly too. K
