Thank you Scott! Yorkshire, will have to pay out on a claim Today as they did not raise a defence, admittedly it was a Visa Claim, which differs from a Bank Account Charges claim, but you never know your luck. But it was for bank charges - is the procedure the same? Anne

Our joint account only last week went overdrawn by around £100. On our bank statement, we have been charged £25 a DAY in unauthorised overdraft charges!!! It used to be £8 a day - when did it increase and didn't the OFT say that the banks should reduce their charges, not increase them? Is it worth making a claim against the bank in view of the recent court case? I think I know how to go about it - but don't want to waste court fees if it's unlikely ever to go to Court.
