  5. Should I sign and return the document they sent me ( obv. deleting the ''full and final settlement..........'' part) saying I accept the sum of £1270, as well as sending the letter, or would the above letter alone be enough?
  6. Thanks Maverik. My letter will be in the post first thing!!
  7. UPDATE................. I received a letter yesterday offering £1270 of the £1500 I requested.Looking around the boards this looks to be a pretty good ( but not good enough!) offer, as a lot of the time they have just offered half. I intend to accept this offer, and pursue the rest. Is there a template ( or example letter) of accepting their offer but informing them I'm going after the rest?
  8. My prelim letter was posted out R/D on saturday, requesting £1500............ watch this space!
  9. Thanks again Lueeze. Open office is working now ( tried yesterday but wouldn't download)
  10. Thanks Lueeze. I understand!! Having trouble accessing the spreadsheets ( stupid pc!!). will try again! ( I did read the faq, and search the boards but couldn't find what I was looking for ) Thanks for your help:D
  11. Good luck.!! I'm sending off my prelim shortly..............totalling £1700:evil: ( the robbing bas$%rds!)
  12. I doubt v much the £27.50 was a charge for the overdraft, more likely to be a charge for going overdrawn. £27.50 shows up regularly on my account, and I certainly didn't agree to a monthly overdraft fee
  13. Anyone?? I'd like to get my prelim sent today, so if anyone can answer my question I'd be hugely grateful!!
  14. now I'm very confused!! Can I add the debited interest onto the claim, or can I only claim for the charges?
  15. Thanks Maverik. 90% of the interest charges are overdraft related, so I guess I can just add these onto the total? Think I'll skip the interest if it becomes a bit more complicated!
