My boyfriend sent the 2nd template letter to Lloyds after receiving the standard reply to his first template letter requesting his bank charges back. They have replied saying that his case has been put on hold until the outcome of the first 'test case' is known. Can someone please tell me when this first test case is and what should he do in the meantime? Should he continue sending letters to them or leave it until they get back to him? Also, he received a letter saying that his debt with them had been passed to a collections agency- it all seems a bit confused as to whether his debt is now with Lloyds or with the collections agency, as he is still receiving correspondence from Lloyds. If it has gone to a collections agency has he lost his chance to fight to get the charges back? Any help or advise gratefully received, thank you very much!
