  1. The judge said he would give it 28 days - but the cheque went into my account today - funds available on Monday! just in time for xmas!!
  2. yeah I was at the court waiting to go in! It was a verbal agreement but she's also sent me an e-mail and has posted a letter which I should receive tomorrow, Was so happy!! Had to go in still and tell the judge what had just happened, so he adjourned the case just in case I didn't get the money for any reason, but said I should withdraw the claim as soon as I get the money!
  3. Settled in full!!! £989.09 coming my way !!! Had a phone call from Christine Cody about 15 mins before I was due in court, saying they wouldn't be sending anyone to the court and had decided to settle in full!!! So relieved!!!
  4. Have just received an e-mail from someone called christine Cody at Abbey asking to ring back urgently! unfortunately have only just got it and it was sent at half one today, bearing in mind the court prelim hearing is tomorrow, what do you think this could be about???
  5. Thank you Karnevil, you've been so helpful! I have printed off the bankfodder info, its great! Did you just copy the entire court bundle with all the cases, statutes etc in or did you pick out certain cases?
  6. Also - how do you know what to use from the court bundle?? there's so much!!!
  7. Hello! Well got my prelim hearing on tuesday and still pretty worried. Have all my statements prepared and breakdown of charges, as that is all that was asked for. Have my prelim letters, data access etc too. The offer that DLA sent me though was on a without prejudice basis, so does that mean i shouldn't copy it to put in with all my other paperwork? has anyone else been, or know of anyone, thats been to the romford county court for a prelim hearing? Thanks!
  8. Thank you! I am just really worried about what I need to say to the judge! Has anyone been in the same situation, where they're only been asked to bring in their spreadsheets and statements for a half hour hearing? Thanks
  9. Hello! Fab result in your case well done!!! I've got a similar situation - had a court date for 14th November, but thats the only letter i've got and it just says to bring my statements and schedule of charges? is this like the first letter you had? should i have sent anything to the court do you think?? Paula
  10. Please Please can somebody help me?!??! I am supposed to be going to court on the 14th of November and can't find anyone thats done this yet as there is so much on the forums to look through!! I have to take along all my statements and things, but is there going to be someone from Abbey there, and will i have to stand up and defend my claims? Please help!
  11. Thanks very much. I feel a bit silly, am prob asking basic questions, but i really don't know how all this works!! will i be requires to talk or anything in court, and literally defend my claim?
  12. ok! With the spread sheet shall i print off one with the charges up to the date of the hearing or the one with the amount that i put through money claim (coz the 8% will have gone up since i filed the claim!)
  13. Thank you! The letter says when the case will be heard and then says (I think this is what you mean by the order) Claimant clarify case by filing and serving a statement setting out the charges disputed by reference to date and amount and by reference to bank statements. 30 mins has been allowed for the preliminary hearing Thanks for any help!
  14. Hello I have just received a letter saying I have a preliminary hearing that i have to attend on the 14th November - anyone know what I have to do now??? Thanks!!
