  1. I have been working my a$$ off for months getting my two credit cards and my current account in order. I've not been illegally overdrawn for 4 months and today I logged into my online banking to find my Current A/C was £69 O/D!!!!! :o £39 for a D/D from liverpoolfc.tv for a monthly subscription I have....but I have had no correspondence from them to tell me it was due, or to give me any warning so i could make sure the A/C was well enough in credit. As a result they have stuck a £30 D/D Commision charge on my account too! I was doing so well....things like this really infuriate me! Is there anything I can do about this?! HELP!! Thanks.... Ryan
  2. thanks, but most of that is old news. I just dont see why this whole system cant be made more fair. Everyone should be using the same scale. hence NATIONAL credit score. Who calls it that? They should be gone after for it. I've been working my a$$ off over the last 6 months and my credit 'score', if you can call it that seems as what it is scored against keeps moving, has been getting better month by month! However it would be nice to know if i was getting close to normality!!
  3. This is a national score right? So... My current score is 546, which is very poor. Can anyone tell me the brackets for the National Credit Score? There must be boundaries for very poor, poor, fair, good, excellent. is 546 is very poor and 1000 is excellent then at what level do the others fit in? I'd like to know so I know when I'm getting close to the next bracket!!
  4. Had a letter back from them yesterday yacking on about the OFT test case and how they have filed my complaint until the conclusion of that case. What do I do now? Still proceed with the LBA and give them another 14 days, file court action and hope the court doesnt apply a stay?
  5. We'll they've paid the goodwill gesture already so im just online preparing my rejection! yay!
  6. Got a letter from them yesterday....we disagree our fees are unfair blah blah blah...but heres 120 quid! LOL! Going to sort out my reject offer letter on tuesday. has anyone had any experience where they have never seen the goodwill settlement they were offered as a result of sending a reject offer that states you will take it as part payment?
  7. Recieved a letter from Vanquis on Saturday advising they would deal with my complaint, or at the very least give me an update within 28 days. They have 11 days till they are going to be sent another nasty letter!
  8. naaah, they are lucky this time! all the spreadsheets here are too complicated for that!
  9. I could but the account is closed I'm afraid!
  10. thats what ive decided to do.... see my Ryan vs HSBC thread in the HSBC forum.... im posting a schedule for the charges i know of for the 2004-2006 period, and advised them to expect further correspondence regarding the 2006-2007 period once i have my statements from them!
  11. I will be posting my prelim 2moro and have decided that despite only currently having statements from 2004-2006, i will start to try and claim the £988 for this period. As such I have altered part of my prelim letter as seen below...any opinions appreciated: What I require I calculate that you have taken £988 in charges over the period November 2004 to January 2006. I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter. I also want to take this opportunity to state that you should expect further correspondence from me in the future regarding charges for the period January 2006 to August 2007 for which I am currently in the process of requesting statements for from you of which you are legally obliged to provide me with as to comply with The Data Protection Act 1998.
  12. I'm afraid not, the account has been closed for a few months now so I guess I'm going to have to contact them for the statements.
  13. Posted a prelim to them yesterday with a schedule attached for a tidy £348. Checked Royal Mail this morning and it hasnt been receieved as yet. If the date according to the recorded delivery falls on a weekend do i still count 14 days from that date?
  14. Posted the prelim yesterday with a schedule for a measely £48!! Its true, thats all they've ever charged me! However, it'll be interesting to see how they respond! Checked Royal Mail tracking this morning and the prelim has been received. They have 14 days...the clock is ticking!
