  1. Hi Steven, Thanks for getting back. Barclays had filed a defence and I have also had a letter from their Legal Clerk. So I guess I should write there for there TOCs. Many thanks MM PS I received their Defence a few days ago, should I contact Court to see if is actually being stayed. Thanks again.
  2. Hi I need the T&Cs for Barclays 2001. The ones I can download from this site are much too small to read (booklet format). I have tried everything I can to enlarge them. Please can anyone help with producing a readable copy. Many thanks MM
  3. Hi Slick #5. Thank you for that, I did eventually manage to download but I did the 2001 Booklet (which is the year my daughter opened a/c) and it prints too small to read. But I didn't save it to My Docs. Perhaps, had I done so, I could have enlarged it. I then tried something else, but ran out of the 'free' allowance. I will try again later today (have to go out) and let you know. Thank you very much for getting back to me. MM
  4. Hi again saintly, I have gone to that link you posted at 11.29. It is where I went before, I just don't know what to do when in there. I click on Barclays T&C's for 1996 (and tried T&Cs Booklet 2000) but it's when that opens, I'm in trouble. Download/upload?? Pay for this? etc. It is just not clear what I should do. Sorry to be such a numpty. MM
  5. Thanks saintly for responding so quickly. I have had a look at the link you gave Document library. But I really do not know what bit I need. I must explain - I am Female OAP & Computer numpty!!! Please would you guide me by the hand !! Thank you MM
  6. As the title says, thank you for posting a link to lateralus' thread 'Court Bundle for Dummies' at last something I can understand, I had spent a long time reading things which were way above me. I am new here. I am claiming the Bank charges for my daughter. Tunbridge Wells County Court have accepted the claim (just as all the OFT stuff began) and the letter from them says Barclays have until 23rd August (this Thursday) to reply. When the time comes, do I have to ring the Court to see if this has happened? If they have not, what do I do next? Also, is there anywhere I can find Barclays terms & conditions as at 2001, when my daughter opened the account with them. Unfortunately, she kept her problems secret from me and has not kept any information. I would very much appreciate any help you can give. Many thanks MM
  7. Hi #4 Ukaviator I have already gone through the process of claiming the charges and registered them with the Court. I am now trying to familiarise myself with what I should do next, if Barclays do not respond and prepare the Court Bundle. #5 maroondevo52 I am sure that is the link I went to previously. I will read up properly in the morning. I really must go now, you kind people keep responding and I thank you for that. Regards MM
  8. Hi tilly49. I may already have posted this!! I wrote it out - pressed something and it disappeared!! I had said: I have already been very lost!! Thought I was printing out the Court Bundle for the Bank thing but found it was 40 pages of some high-faluting stuff - McAlpine etc. So stopped after 6 pages! Then I couldn't get back to where I wanted to. So gave up. Then I found your email - thank you so much. I will have a look at the link you have given, then I think I will come back again in the morning when my brain may be a bit fresher. Many thanks for being a friendly voice. All I really want to find is the info I put in my original post. MM PS I also tried to make a £10 donation to the site, but that wouldn't let me with my Debit card - wanted my paypal account. I do have that but didn't particularly want to use it. I think you will find me 'shouting' quite frequently!!
  9. Hello everyone, as I say I'm new. Female, OAP, Computer Numpty!!! I have been trying to claim back my daughter's bank charges with the help of Martin's money site (who suggested I come here too) and a particularly helpful poster who took pity on me. I have got to the stage of having put the 'claim' in with Tunbridge Wells CC who say the defendants Barclay's have until 23rd Aug 07 to reply. So I have come here to check what I should do if they do/do not respond in any way and for info on the Court bundle, if I need it. I like to be prepared - actually it takes me a long while for things to 'sink in' !! So, I will go off and have a look around - bound to get lost!! MM
