  1. Hi Y'all, been a lurker here for a while & last month finnaly got up the courage to send my 1st letter (inc schedule of charges) to IF. Naturally they said "no way". Sent second letter (LBA) shortly after. The replied to say "we will offer 25% as full & final payment" Today I will write back to say "thanks for the offer, gladly accepted but I'm still planning to sue for the other 75%. Watch this space xx
  2. Hi all, So I finally screwed up my courage & sent a LBA to IF to claim back £682.00 of charges (having taken the other usual steps naturally). Today I get an offer "in full & final settlement" of 25% of the charges. HAHAHA I dont THINK so! I'll be replying to say I'll happily accept the 25% but on the condition that I will be pusuing through the courts for the rest - I know now that they are very likely to fold before it gets to court but even f not I'm prepared thanks to the great advice I have found on this site :o) Will update as thins progress :o)
  3. Hi all, 1st post here but i've been a lurker/reader for quite a while. I'm going to be claiming bank charges back from Intelligent Finance (IF) who are a sub division of the Halifax plc. However, IF's address is in scotland which monayclaim tell me I am not able to make a claim against so I've had to enter the Halifax plc addy (english) on my moneyclaim form. I havent started the claim yet - just filled in the basc details & saved it. Does anyone have any advice as to whether this will cause any problems? Cheers,
