HI I bought advent 7096 laptop from pcworld 13 month ago. when i first got it the power supply broke and it took the technicians 2 weeks to suss it out and replace it, 3 weeks ago approx12 month and 3 weeks i noticed that the brackets that hold the screen to the base was cracked and wont close properly without having to prize it back in .this is not due to being mistreated as its not something i am going to do with a £500 piece of equipment, i then noticed that there was a thin white line with a red and blue strip on the left hand side of the screen on the desktop, this will disso pear if i slightly move the whole screen slightly sideways then comes back when i let go. I have noticed that the laptop gets really hot at the back and the heat sink for the chipset has fallen off probably due to the amount of heat the whole thing gives off. Not happy at all with this.. What can i do ??? Any similar problems like this out there??? chirs
