  3. Hi Guys FD has missed the chance to respond to the letter before action, so I am as we speak completing the moneyclaim form - can I just confrirm. My claim to FD is £4995.00 excluding interest and the processing fee - I have clicked I wish to reserve the right to claim the interest - but do I claim it or will it push me over the £5k threshold? Is the £5k limit for the base claim? or the total final claim including Fees and Interest? Thanks Chris
  4. Thanks I will wait - I don't want to risk any issues! Thanks Chris
  5. Hi Guys I have had a second response to my "Letter before Action" basically saying they would not be honouring my claim and that if I did not agree I could send a letter to the ombudsman. They have done this within the 14day period of response, do I need to now wait until the end of this 14day period before I submit to the court or as they have answered within the period, can I just move the legal stage without any further notice? Many thanks Chris
  6. Hi All Great forum etc, I am just finalising my application for First Direct. I have a question - I seem to have been charged different "overdraft fees" in different months - some times it is £15, some £20, some £25 and some £30. I understand I can cleanly claim for the Excess OD charges, but my understanding is I can't claim for "normal" OD charges - so why do they change? I am a bit lost, I have read the FAQs and previous posts but I am still not sure. Do I claim for the monthlt od fees as they always change and as such must be punitive? Thanks fishboy
