Hi Liz, Don't know if this person has put any posts on this site, but if you look for a user called TANZARELLI, they have a list of courts that are going ahead with cases. If they're not on here try moneysavingexert.com, and send them a PM. Hope this helps you, also the question you were asking about your interest, it is the 8% interest added daily since starting your claim (I think) Mark

Gary, Thanks for the post, I'm just waiting for St Helens County Court to set a date for my hearing against Shabbey, so I'm just getting my court bundle togetther (got most of it) do you have a link to the competition commissioners report. Once again thanks Mark

Hi everyone, I spoke to a really helpful lady at St Helens County Court, I phoned to ask whether they were going to stay all reclaim cases, she said they are awaiting a decision by the district judge, and I should know within a week. I asked her if I could dispute the stay and she said I should seek some help from legal experts, she gave me a telephone number which I'm going to ring tomorrow and asjk for guidance, the number is 0845 345 4345 if anyone is interested. Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to get back a charge taken out for missing a payment on car insurance:confused: ? Budget are penalising us for 1 missed payment from Abbey at a cost of £20, when I rang to try to get the charge removed, the person at Budget just qouted their T&C's. All these institutions are really getting me hot under the collar. Really appreciate any help from you all Thanks in advence Sparky0107

Hi Nima21, Could you forward this to me, I would really appreciate it. You people do some good work in this site. Thanks in advance, Mark

Good on you kid stick to your guns, I'm sick of the way they try to kick the little guy, most of the trouble I've gotten into is because they keep taking the bl**dy charges out of my account, even Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people!

Thanks Jo, It's nice to know that there is a vast knowledge base out in the ether. Thanks for the help Mark x

Thanks Simon, I'm actually at stage 3 of the process, having done the original, letter asking for money back, then next letter giving another 14 days, so next Tuesday I start the MCoL process, also I opened the account with them over 20 years ago (I know -SAD). I am keeping to the time scale laid out, and all correspondence has been sent by recorded delivery, the only other thing I need to know is, I have been sending letters to the address on the top of my statements, and have noticed people qouting another address, which is also in London, should I send letters there instead? One more thing, if Abbey have taken more charges since initial request for refund, can I also add these to the claim. Once again thanks in advance Mark

Hi everyone, can you good people out there give me some pointers on preparing my cdourt bundle, due to start MCoL next Tuesday (3rd July), and want to try to get as much paperwork prepped, also from the date of the initial claim for refund of charges, can I also add on interest? Next question - I've been onto the Abbey's terms & conditions site, does it matter which T & C's I download to put into my bundle. Also after lodging MCoL what kind of time scale is there for receiving a court date. Thanks to all in advance

Thats exactly the kind of thing I need, you have obviously done your homework, or been through the mill, over charges. Thanks very much, Mark
