  1. Have just scanned the conatct details sticky and found the tel number for joyce Tudor. Spoke to her (very nice lady actually) who confirmed now they have my new address they will send out the statements. :)
  2. As there was no contact number and i couldnt obtain it from the nice moustached chaps at 118 I have sent the following fax to the number on my letter received from Joyce Tudor FAO JOYCE TUDOR RETAIL REGULATORY RISK JOHN STONE My Address 14/09/06 Dear Mrs Tudor, I write to you with regards to your recent reply to my letter requesting a complete list of transactions on my account, sort code xxxxxx account number xxxxxx. I am surprised to hear that you still have my old address on file as I went in to the Weston Super Mare branch on the 5th of September, filled out a 2 page A4 form and provided proof of my identity (passport and utility bill). This was mentioned in my previous letter to yourself. I would be most grateful if you could check your records again to see if they have been updated. Should they still be showing my old address could you be kind enough to liaise with the Weston branch to confirm my changes and action them accordingly. I would appreciate a reply either by fax to 01934 xxxxxx or email (my email address) Alternatively I can be contacted on 01934 xxxxxx. Thank you in anticipation for your assistance with this matter. Yours sincerely John Stone Lets see if i get a reply?????????
  3. I changed my address on the 5th of Sept. I went in to the Weston S Mafre branch and asked how to change my address. The staff member told me I would need to bring in ID such as passport to confirm my identity. I done this and filled out a 2 page A4 form in his presence, which he also signed at the bottom. He then told me that the request would be actioned. As for ringing Joyce Tudor there is no number on the letter, just a fax number. I will try directory enquiries off the postal address(2nd floor bus. house, edinburgh. and see if I can get through)The letter from Joyce was dated 8th Sept.
  4. I have received a letter from Natwest with the following script: "I write with regards to your recent letter requesting a complete list of transactions and charges applied to your account under the data protection act 1998. We still have your old address on our system. Please advise us and your branch of your new address and when you moved so that we can update our records. In the meantime we acknowledge receipt of payment for £10 in respect of the fee. If you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact me at the above address. Yours Sincerely Joyce E Tudor Retail regulatory risk (not even signed by her!!) Is this just pure incompetence! Did they even read my letter??? I stated that I had already been in to the Weston S Mare Branch and confirmed my Identity and filled out a form to change my address!!!! Is this merely stalling tactics? What should I do now?? NW staff member if you are reading this please help:(
  5. 2 seperate account numbers I think? Actually not sure. How do I find out???
  6. AARRGGHH!!! Forgot that my account was upgrade to a classic to aid me to get a better rate on a loan. Just got my statements and only got the ones which relate to the classic account (only 3 charges!!) I am about to write to them now asking for information on ALL accounts. Should I send another £10 just incase??
  7. Quite frustrating really, The gentleman on the counter merely confirmed that I had not been charged for them again, or ever, I told him I hadn't received them and he didnt even offer to resend. I have sent the SAR to Bishopsgate, am I likely to get a reply to this?? p.s thanks for your input into this already
  8. No, Actually they said they had sent them to my old address but as I have a tenent in there now and i pay for royal mail redirect i know they didnt turn up. They then said they would send them again, waited a month and nothing, thats why I have sent them this letter, surely I must get them from this??????????
  9. OOOPS!!!!! Removed now, Cheers mate:-o :-o
  10. I had an account with Lloyds Tsb which I closed in June 2005 which i had basically forgotten about until the revolution of claiming charges back came about. I was charged a fortune on this account so fingers crossed i get it back!! Anyway i had forgoten my account number so popped into my local branch with the excuse that I neede my duplicate statements to query payments to a loan company. Rather than go through the SAR process the customer service rep took my request at the branch. I was abit duvious about doing it this way but when she asked me for £10 I was a bit reassured, She also gave me her name and a receipt. Better still she said I should receive the info within 7 days!!! I will keep you posted with any developments:)
  11. After requesting copy statements twice over the last 3 months NatWest have surprise surprise still not sent them. I have now taken the plunge and sent them the letter below. As I have tailored it slighlty should it still be okay? (the part at the bottom with my new address etc) Fingers crossed!! My Name and new address My Name and previous address 05.09.06 National Westmister Bank Plc 135 Bishopsgate London EC2M 3UR Data Protection Act 1998 Subject Access Request Dear Sir/Madam ACCOUNT NUMBER: xxxxxxxx SORT CODE: xxxxxxx I have twice been into the Weston Super Mare branch and ordered duplicate copies of my bank statements which nearly three months later have never turned up. Therefore I am now sending you this formal request to supply me with a complete list of transactions and charges relating to my banking history with your organisation. Alternatively, a complete set of statements for that period will be acceptable. Additionally, where there has been any event in my account history over this period which has required manual intervention by any member of your staff, or any other person, I require disclosure of any indication or notes which have either caused or resulted in that manual intervention, or other evidence of that manual intervention in relation to my banking business with you. If you are unable to supply this data because there has been no such manual intervention, then please be so kind as to confirm this in your response. I enclose the statutory maximum fee of £10. You have 40 days in which to comply. Furthermore, if I discover that you have levied disproportionate penalties against me, then I shall be reclaiming them, and also reclaiming the enclosed £10 Data Protection Act subject access request fee. If there is specific information which you require in order to satisfy yourself as to my identity, please let me know by return. Please note that on 05.09.06 I changed my address to 16 Fairview, as above, at your Weston super Mare branch, providing my passport and other identification as proof. Therefore this address having now been verified is the one I wish you to forward all correspondence to. I would be happy to collect the Data from my local branch. Yours faithfully,

  13. Hi, I have taken the plunge and sent my 1st letter for statements to natwest so I will keep you posted on that one. I was just wondering I had a Lloyds tsb account which I closed about 18months ago. I do however still have a loan account with them. Can I claim these charges back too or does the account still have to be open. Also if the answer is yes are there any successfull cases out there?
