  1. My wife has an allocation hearing on August 29, but the court have sent me no info on bundles or info required etc. Also i cant find any info on how the OFT case has affected this claim against lloyds. Any advice? - we have never had even an offer of settlement, but have had a letter saying they hope we can reach a settlement. Anyone heard of this?
  2. Hi again Hedgey, NatWest have written an offered their initial settlement figure, which is 900 quid less than our claim. They have said the "Master of the Rolls has at our request issued a notification to the county courts 'suggesting' they stay proceedings about bank charges until resolution of the banks proceedings with the OFT." Thinking about taking it, but have spent £350 on getting it to court too? Any tips or knowledge of best way of haggling with the banks? I found them quite determined to stick to the offer only last time I called them when they made it initially. Cheers J
  3. Hi there - I received and offer too. We are claiming about 3500 but only oferring us 2800. How come you got offered just 200 pound less - doesn't seem to match with the interest - any tips? Also what happened regarding the money which you have spent on court fees etc? Thanks Jamie
  4. Cheers. So even if Cobbets apply for a stay the court date stands and i get to request a removal of the stay? Has this worked for anyone yet? Also, is My bundle just a copy of all the documents we have submitted so far? J
  5. Hi Hedgey - Just to let you know, I have an Allocation Hearing / court date for Aug 29th for claim against NatWest. Really gutted by this test case delay happening weeks before the court date. Might we have a chance of getting this over and done with despite the Test case scenario? Coincidentally my wife's case against Lloyds is 15 mins earlier in same court, but we haven't had a AQ for that one - the court saying they dont need one anymore? Thanks for all your help. J
  6. Hi Hedgey again. I understand when the statements get sent off etc.. still wondering whther its ok to photocopy the AQ tho for the version I send to cobbets.. Thanks Jamie
  7. cheers Hedgey, will follow your advice and get all the stuff together tomorrow using that link. Do I just photocopy the AQ for version of stuff i send to cobbets? or fill out and print a separate form? Also something else i was unsure of was... do i need to submit all the actual statements a later date? or will a list of the charges and dates i compiled using Martin Lewis' calculator not do? (i have already submitted this a few times...) Cheers for your help. jamie.ollivere@hotmail.co.uk
  8. Thanks Hedgey. Under the AQ section of the link you sent it says 'If you'd like to use the Draft Order for Directions'. What is the other option? To leave that out of the info to be included in section G? I am prepared to compile all of the paper work - I just need to get it mailed tomorrow for monday dealine. If its best to do it I'll go for it. (I have already sent a request plus another copy of the list of charges to both the court and cobbets for information on how they compile the charges as directed by helpers on this site). Shall i just do it again with the AQ? Cheers for your patience. J
  9. I have already served a CPR 18 on NatWest in response to the one they served on me. Should I include anything extra in Section G of the AQ? Will it affect the likeliehood of moving the claim along? I have to have the AQ back at court by Monday 23rd of July. Hope someone can advise. Thanks Jamie
  10. Cheers Steve, I haven't sent the AQ yet should i ammend the sentence below or leave it in coz I will be probably be having to do it any way? It is also of note to the court that the original list of charges has been supplied to the defendant on two occasions the last within the Allocation Questionnaire. Also, should i change the sentence about ammendments? I made the initial request for statements back in Feb and sent letter in March. There are added charges since which i have added myself? Cheers again Jamie
  11. Hi there, Looks like i got the standard CPR18 response from NatWest. Keen to answer them. Do I copy the court in on the 2 example replies highlighted on the forum (ie my response and my own request for more info)? Claiming £3500 by the way. Regards Jamie
