Hi all, have really enjoyed spending my money!!! Booked a holiday curtesy of Halifax.

Hiya, Keep going, the Halifax refused me too, even though they'd paid out to my mum, friend and cousin. I sent them the letter again stating that they had 14 days to pay before i took them to court. The letter was ignored. I filed claim online 3 weeks ago. Money was in my bank yesterday. I think they look at accounts to see if people can afford to pay initial court fees. Ha! They couldnt check my dads!!!! Good Luck. Poorbaroness

eyup, sorry only answered half ytour question, dont expect any correspondance from halifax, they are about as pants as you can get, i had nothing, just discovered that i was 6 grand better off., no letter or anything. Going to las vagas thanks to the halifax!!!!!!!! DONT GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya' Do anything and everything to keep in contact with the bank, the more contact you have with them the better it will look for you in court! I just got £6000.00 from halifax, i recorded everything, the calls that i couldnt record, i made sure i had a witness to. I tried to be very prepared, remember thet is the key! GO FOR IT, What do you have to lose? I gave it my all and i won!!!!! I cant urge you enough, i put in the court claim, i had my money before it got to a court hearing, the banks are still trying to scare people into not going to court!!! I'm pretty certain that they will look at your account to see if they think you can afford to go to court, do what i did, get smeone else to pay for it! My saving grace was my cheques, they were my dads! this stratergy worked, how could they deny they had letters when they had cashed cheques. They cant, my advice is get someone else to fund it up front. They cant deny it if they've cashed cheques and cashed them. Email me @ wendyraffo@hotmail.com

Hiya' Forget all these 14 days or 7 days or 21 days and all that millarky, they took your money, go get it back, i did it and so can you, I let time deadlines lapse, i work full time and found it difficult to keep to the deadlines and i just got my 6 grand back, just keep going. Poorbaroness

:D HI, JUST CHECKED BANK, HAVE HAD ALL £6000.00 PAID INTO MY ACCOUNT TODAY, IT WAS IN TWO SEPERATE TRANSACTIONS, DONT KNOW WHY! CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO STOP THE COURT PRCEEDINGS????:o TO ANYONE THINKING OF NOT GOING TO COURT...... GO FOR IT!
