  1. First time on this NatWest forum but had to post as my son received offer from NatWest today offering him £2,200, which is £300 less than requested but he has accepted as his claim been on-going since Febuary. Strange thing is though is that they said they had wrote to him previously making goodwill offer and since OFT are starting legal proceedings that they are making offer again but he never received first offer letter. They are stating he has 2 months to reply. Further down the letter they apologise for not responding in full to his complaint until now but they together with FSA and OFT think it is necessary to resolve the key legal issues before deciding how they should respond to your complaint. Then they go on about retaining his bank records as this will make it easier for him to support his complaint on resolution of the OFT test case. Letter is totally confusing but I am presuming they expect to lose test case and making offers in "full and final settlement" to prevent having to pay more when they do lose. Bit bothered after 2 weeks you have not received payment suppose they just drag their feet as long as possible but sure they will pay up eventually. Just want to say to everyone on this site who helped me to get this offer for my son especially "hedgey" Many Thanks could not have doen it without you. Jammie
  2. Thanks for help hedgey06 do you think it best that I use draft order for directions? And if I do use do I send copies of this and AQ to NATWEST or their solicitors. Sorry if sound thick but I am having difficulties with understamding every thing.
  3. Can anyone help with completion of AQ especially Other Info section and is there a letter I need to send with this. I have to return it my 16th July so very urgent. Thanks:(
  4. Thanks sea-sidelady I have found thread and read up on AQ form filling not too sure I understand but will give it a go. Son not on benefits but suppose I will fund it coz I can't face letting NATWEST win without a fight. Claim is for £2,560 and they still continue to add interest to overdraft. Let u know how we get on. Jammie
  5. Hi, Just joined CAG and hoping for help with reclaiming my son's bank charges from NATWEST who are defending claim. Have received AQ from local court that has to be returned by 16th July but what do I put in witness and other information section coz I have not got a clue. Considering giving up because son has not got the £100 fee and I have already funded cost of MCOL and beginning to dread court case as do not understand Court Bundle thing and the whole thing is alot harder than I thought it was going to be. Not had one response from NATWEST during the whold process except from Cobbetts. Sorry for being negative but I feel like SCREAMING!!!!! Jammie
