  1. Hi Fiwwy Yes you do have to pay up front, but before you start taking action, you may want to look at this website and the template letter threatening to take them to court Bank Charges: Reclaim them, they're unlawful, get up to six years' money back... Trisheywishey
  2. Thank you Johnspeehs I will do that.
  3. I sent ulster bank a list of the charges I wished to reclaim back, I got this response, can anyone tell me what to do next. We believe that our charges are fair, reasonable and transparent. We consider that the amounts debited to your account have been applied strictly in accordance with your agreement with us and our published tariff, which we are satisfied, complies with all applicable laws and regulations. We are also committed to ensuring the transparency of the information that we give to our customers about the operation of our products. Consequently, against that background, we must differ with the views expressed in your letter and I, therefore, regret to advise that we will not be refunding any of the charges applied to your bank account. In case you wish to take the matter further, I have enclosed a leaflet (financial ombudsman) explaining the options available to you. Can anyone tell me what I should do next. Thank you Trishewishey
