  1. THE MONEY IS IN MY ACCOUNT TODAY! WOOOHOOO!!! I WON!! Thanks for all your help and advice its what made me win! Please move me to the winners section! £2731.33 won!
  2. Good morning! Thanks for merging my posts! I got a letter from the Halifax and the court this morning! They have filed a defence and then the letter goes onto say that without admitting liability the rest of the money I have claimed will be credited to my account in 5 working days!! I DID IT!! So now once the money hits my account I assume I just tick the relevant box on the Issue of Notice and send it off to court for them to close the case? I'm so happy!!!! Thanks for all your help everyone!
  3. Thanks - I have sent the letter off! Fingers crossed! Doesn't look like one place knows what the other is doing throughout Halifax - every letter I receive is from someone else based someone else!! Quite amusing!
  4. On the link I went through you sent - it just had 2 options one the judgement thing or the second one give them more time. Where is the letter though? Sorry must be having a blonde moment!
  5. But Halifax had until 18 July (yesterday) to pay according to the Notice of Issue I received from the court and it says if I don't then I can ask the court to enter judgement using the request on the Notice Issue - should I not do this then? It costs another £55?
  6. Thanks Sea-sidelady! The 14 days was up yesterday and the only letter I have received from Halifax is one offering me half the amount - but I don't think this was a reaction to the legal action but to the letter before action if that makes sense - I have sent a letter back to them rejecting the amount so now just need to know what to write to the court?
  7. Could someone please merge all my threads - I really need some advice on what to do next!!!
  8. Right Halifax have put half the amount into my bank account even though I sent and faxed a letter saying that I would not be accepting this! The court sent there letter to me and it says on there that they have until 18 July - yesterday - so what do I do now? What part of the Notice of Issue do I complete so I can send it back to the court?
  9. Go for it - I have faxed mine and taken it to the post office for special delivery - I don't know why the newspapers print these things - you would think they'd be on our side!!
  10. but they might not get it and use that in there defence?
  11. Just seen there is a postal strike tomorrow - shall I fax and phone and send?? Just in case?
  12. So do you think we'll get court dates? I'm quite excited now - started off being scared now I want my money back!!
  13. I used number 5 - I feel more confident now - thanks!!!!
  14. Thanks - have just typed the letter and will send it at lunch time by recorded delivery!!
