recieved letter today saying they would like to settle in full with £1400. phoned up and said it was a £1000 short ,, they offered me an extra £600 on the phone, i was happy with this figure £2000 so ive accepted thanks to everyone that has helped especially seasidelady... :-D

i have recieved a letter from halifax stating that when i opened my account you agreed to there terms and conditions and that the charges have been properly applied to my account,,they say they are declining my claim and hope they have explained why,, and enclosed 2 brochures , helping to understand bank cgarges and personal customer complaints,should i now send the letter before action, letter
