its called "cycle to work scheme" you need to get your employer involved.he then purchases bikes that you rent from him over a 12 or 18 month period.you sacrifice a set amount of your wage and you dont pay tax or ni on it.(gross)then you get a net figure ie £4 wich comes out of your wage weekly for the payment or rent of the bike.at the end of the term agreed your employer offers you the bike for sale at 5% of the original price and the bike becomes yours.simple but effective, tax free purchase, giving a saving of between 43% and poss over 50%.the bike i am getting is £549, in halfords sale it is reduced by £110 Total cost of bike and accessories: £449.00 VAT saving on bike and accessories (NB helmets are exempt from VAT): £66.87 Net cost of bike and accessories: £382.13 Income tax saving over hire period: £84.07 NI saving over hire period: £42.03 Final cost of bike & accessories: £256.03 Total saving:** £192.97 Gross monthly salary sacrifice, based on 12 month hire period: £31.84 Net monthly salary sacrifice, based on 12 month hire period: £21.34 Percentage saving over RRP: 43% now thats what i call a bargain.its all above board,have a look. dont panik dude im in the same boat. 5 nov yeovil county court.i have no idea what im supposed to do apart from turn up and try and say things that are clever (ish) and look respectable (ish).jenny has a letter posted about what she wants to say,so im gonna poach a few lines and read them out to the judge with a few of my own.im gonna treat it like an english language impromptue speech in front of class m8s.(allbeit i left school in 83 and thinking back that far is getting difficult:rolleyes: )nice wheels by the way.this is what im after

just opened a statement letter fro a & l ,and enclosed is a new fee timetable and new fee names too.i love you a & l you are priceless.my partner just got the same from lloyds, and they are cheaper.......hmmm mite be worth a trip down the high street (new account time).......................wonder if a & l are gonna loose a lot more customers now lmao. well heres one thats about to fly the nest.

well here it is,in all its glory.the letter from yeovil county court. two lines and 29 words of pure pleasure.................... "the hearing of the claimants application for removing the stay will take place at 14;00 on the 5 november 2007 at yeovil county court, 22 henford,yeovil,somerset,ba20 2qd." so now i gotta get a haircut and a new suit, brush my teeth, and practice speaking, with out tripping over my tongue.oh the joy,will be interesting, and a new life experiance.its gotta be one of the 100 things to do before i eat dinner.

it was a great holl ty jen.best i have had for years. so what will be happening on the 5th do you think?hearing to remove the stay?or stay removed and hearing for charges?omg im so excited today.............gonna shoot up the offy and get the bulmers in

hi all, im back from my holls and i have news.just phoned my local court to find out if there was any decision on my application to have a stay removed.the judge has set a hearing date for 05 november at 1400 hours i should recieve the letter in the post tomorrow.rok on the judge that has cheered me up.just need help now to prepare for that.so a lot of daft questions will follow im sure .

well thats it birthday over, 41 has come, and is going .tomorrow im on my holls for a week.so ill try and keep you updated when and if i can get to a pc.if not, friday evening im back home and online.hopefully my stay will be lifted (fingers crossed)has anyone had one lifted yet?

no news today on the stay,my only hope is it comes tomorrow b4 i get away on holls.two days till my b day and the new toy is calling me.miles n miles n miles of smiles...................and the odd fly in the teeth(i do hope not) love is............................a bank that gives!!!!!(it all back)

evening all,sorry bin taking days away and now preparing to go on my hols for aweek.i havnt left or abandoned you (worst luk i hear u all shout) i thought id give us all a break. anyway, no news yet on my stay,doubt ill hear anything now till the 7th sept when i get back from the sea side. just hope we have at least a few days of warm sun shine.i will be back rejuvinated and ready to figth on in a new and vibrant way (or something just as exciting ) speak later people......have a nice time on holls jen xx
