  3. Hi, I recived a penalty notice on the 5th of jan 2007 for being parked "in a restricted street during prescibed hours", i got in touch with Haringey Council and told them that at the time the penalty notice was issuied i was not the driver and have given them the drivers details at the time. (even though i am the registered Owner) Now on the 17th of Feb 2007,I have recived a Notice of owner letter, Should i tell them on this the same thing about me not being the driver or will they not accept this? This letter is asking for me to pay £80 the full price of the ticket...HOWEVER on the back of the PCN it says that if i write to them within 14 days (which i did) and they dont accept my challenge i will have the chance to pay the reduced rate for a further 14days after reciving them writing back to me...does this still apply as the only other correspondant iv had from them is this notice of owner? Please Help. Thank You.:-|
  4. have just spoken to hsbc on the phone...thier "international" call people are no good. Sent letter to hsbc..awaiting response....
  5. i came across this site form moneysavingexpert.com HSBC have just charged me £60 for unpaid direct debit in my account... although the debits were taken and then reversed. The £60 still leaves me Overdrawn on my overdraft, which is why in the first place they never allowed my original direct debits. A day after seeing the charges i asked a friend to put a cheque into that account..he did so before 3pm that day (so it should count as a working day).. but HSBC took one extra day because of apprant "Security checks" Oh and i also get chraged interest if i go over a few pounds of my overdraft. Do i have a claim here? Should they have charged me £60? Shall i send them a letter as in the libuary? and what is the address to write to hsbc for this? Thank you all for you help..jus need some advice.
