Sorry just got the ticket I do appreciate the help and completely understand you need all the information. Thanks very much for your time; PCN No: LH37280168 Notice Service date; 19/11/08 Vehicle Reg; Correct Make of vehicle: correct Colour: correct Location: Palace Road Observed from 17.24 to 17.29 On; 19/11/08 By civil enforcement officer Lh804 who believed that the following parking contravention had been committed; 01 01 Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours

Its actually for a friend so I don't have all the details. I know the fine is payable to the London Borough of Lamberth and car was parked on Palace Road. The PCN number begins with LH if that means anything? I don't know how to upload the pictures I have but the car in front has a yellow line under it, and then it stops and there is no yellow line under where my friend parked.

Thanks so much for taking the time at looking at this, got a parking ticket this week but there was no yellow line, I took some pictures can I appeal on the basis that the contravention did not occur as there was no single or double yellow lines of a continuous, unbroken nature or that ended in a 'T-bar' at the location of my parked vechile. Is this right?? Many Thanks

I sent in my request for repayment of credit card charges but they flatly refused, I tried arguing but still not a single offer! So I sent a compliant to the FOS rather than going the court route - they really are not a very nice bank are they! FOS have now got involved, and wrote to them, then Abbey wrote back to me saying FOS had asked for a final response to be sent to me, which Iis weird because I already had a final response from Cahoot. Anyway FOS wrote to me saying they have asked Abbey to re-consider there offer, or provide details of how the charges are made up! will wait now to see what happens!

SHOULD I ACCEPT? BOS credit card
consumerpower replied to alisonmcmorrin's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
Hello I have had excately the same from Halifax and Mint both offered me the difference between the £12 and £25 as a full and final offer. Not sure if they are thinking that the court case will result in £12 being found fair or not, there was no reference to the OFT £12 from either bank. I am now going through the FOS route, so will see what happens. -
Thank you, it is for credit card charges and not any bank charges. Did you get a full settlement, and how long did it take?
-
Hello I know it is really easier to go the court route, but I am just wondering if anyone choose not to and complained to the FOS instead?

Hello No I haven't, thinking of going down the Financial Ombudsman Service route instead of going to court. Any thoughts on this? -
